I lived in the UK for about 2.5 years and I couldn't get used to the Asian food there. Of course Indian was great but Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Sushi etc. were all pretty disappointing compared to what I can get in Australia at a cheaper price. Also, having washing machines in the kitchen really surprised me.

@biggiedii4889 My mother had a washing machine in the kitchen back in the 1960s in Aus, because the old house had a laundry out in the backyard which she didn't like using. Especially at night.

Another enjoyable vid Betty. When I lived there: fresh meat, fruit and veg went to Waitrose (pricy but the best), anything else you need from a supermarket go to the cheaper ones. M&S is great if you can’t be arsed cooking and for work lunches.

Someone told me Waitrose and M&S were super expensive so I never even bothered going to check them out but I’ll look, thank you for the recommendation. I’ve found a few random fruit and vege stalls which have cheap and tasty avocados, probably the best thing that’s happened to me 😂

I'm from the UK, London is amazing but absolutely crazy at times. Marks and Spencers have good food and boots have great cosmetics etc. Will be so hot in August and clean your nose out often

I’m yet to try M&S food, hopefully it’s better than what I’ve had so far. The tube will turn into a steam room in August I’d imagine 🤣 Thank you for sharing 💕
