@@ayushpatel1173 that is not what he said first of all and how u gonna compare a whole continent to one country 😂😂 seems to me like ur the one who thinks their superior. @@liamengram6326 it’s a dumb rule, makes the items seem less healthy and kinda of forces some people to buy the expensive fresh stuff since they want to be on diet, which is good products but it ends up tasting quite similarly. The only fresh stuff that’s amazing quality is from supply chains directly, and that is extremely expensive and it’s the reason meals are expensive at restaurants.
ik it’s probably jokes but on the real tho, they should stop making somewhat biased reactions because it ends up with how they portrayed themselves in this video, and by them also complaining why they don’t have a big American fan base this is probably one of the big reasons why: When America is mentioned, they almost always tend to look biased lowkey, even if its jokes. Plus it’s part of the FDA in the UK to not reveal or disclose a bunch of the chemicals/enzymes within the ingredients, and like i said, most of the stuff on the American lists are just vitamins/enzymes that look harmful cuz of its name when its rlly not
@Alex Linkowski Modern pizza is from Italy. Might have been a random Chinese man that once put a tomato on a flat bread before, but modern pizza is Italian.
@Alex Linkowski Just Googled it, it's a urban legend, not only the word pizza (which meant poor people food) originated three centuries before Marco Polo went to China, but Italy had focaccia (flat bread with oil and olives) from Roman times, which if anything was inspired by Greece cuisine. Modern pizza originated in the 18th century when someone in Naples put cheese and tomato sauce on a focaccia and made modern pizza, there is no scallions in it so if any other country was to take pride in pizza it would be Greece for inspiring the focaccia.
The interesting thing is the enriched flower and the ingredients in it are mostly micronutrients and vitamins. The ascorbic acid is actually vitamin C. So I think it's mostly about the rules the US branch has to declare in nutritional values by law, not that the UK pizza doesn't have those, but they might not be obligated to declare those if they list the main ingredient : flour/ pepperoni/cheese etc. that contain those dangerous sounding "chemicals" that are found within them.
All of the ingredients listed for the American Pizza is the same as the UK Pizza, we just have to put what goes into each ingredient. The UK Pizza also has all those chemicals but they can just put mozzarella and call it a day while in America they are required to list what makes up mozzarella.
@@Daniel-rw2ih accept that America has higher regulations for what we say on our ingredients plus the ones everybody was freaking out at where vitamins
@@maxx.a8302 yeah they’re not they just add extra flavor. but it does add extra calories of course. however that’s why most people will say the food in the US tastes better than the UK
@@EyeDewDie fr they are making stricter regulation in the uk in I think 2022 that will require them to list all the chemicals that make up the ingredients the same as the US so maybe they will learn about vitamins then.
Most people have no idea what these ingredients are, and when you google them you can clearly see they are not bad "chemicals" Our body is made of millions of chemicals. Folic Acid is a vitamin just like ascorbic acid. It is vitamin C. We in the UK will also legally have to write the ingredients OF the ingredients very soon. I can't remember if it was this year or 2022
I love how JJ said "its probably just..........its probably just........its probably just.........its probably just" and they completely ignore him until theyre done

Our menu in Canada is slightly different from that as well. They don’t have stuffed crust here, but they do have a hand tossed pan pizza - for extra of course.
A good deal of the chemicals listed were vitamins or their alternative names. It's sorta funny sorta sad seeing people freak out over the stuff. Reminds me back when we were terrified of MSG

Honestly, where I live, (in America,) we got even more sides and deserts. I remember this one thing we have (or had) which was like these churros, except they were twisted like knots and they were pretty good.
People: I don't need to know Biology in school, why do I care if the mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell. Also People: IRON!?!!?! FOLIC ACID!?!?!?! ON FOOOD!?!?!
Bro, when they were screaming about "cultures" in cheese, it's legit just a variation of Lactobacillus. If you've ever had cheese in your life, you've eaten Lactobacillus.
@7:38 no here in america all company's MUST disclose their ingredients list. where as in other countries like the UK they don't have to do that and can just say what ever they want.

Most people don't know, but the US is required to list every last one of the ingredients, and the UK isn't. Most of the chemicals listed are vitamins and are still found in the UK as well.
@@chrisjohnson16 If you go to a British store, you will find so much less artificial crap. Plus it even tastes more natural and less greasy and artificial
American foods are fortified with vitamins. That's not to say they are healthy but that's what those things are. Niacin is vitamin B3, folic acid is vitamin B9, Riboflavin is vitamin B2, thiamine mononitrite is a formulation of Vitamin B1. Ascorbic acid is Vitamin C. The reason this is done is because deficiencies in these can lead to illness, for example if a female is pregnant and she does not consume enough folic acid (Vitamin B9), the baby will have severe congenital anomalies. Also, a B9 deficiency can lead to a megaloblastic anemia. These aren't just random chemicals added
I really get what you are saying but Pregnant women shouldn't really be eating junk food cause it has a lot more Fat and everything that should be avoided during pregnancy. She should consume it through healthy food. Pregnant women should eat healthy at least until she gives birth but can eat a bit of fast food in very small portions like example if you get Chicken burger from McDonald's or anywhere she should just eat half of it. Cause what mother eats produces milk and better food she eats the better and healthier milk is for baby.
@@Enforcedcraft um my guy you know pregnant women have cravings right? They can just eat healthy. My sister was pregnant and she continuously ate ramen noodles and crab legs because thats the crave she had she couldnt even eat her favorite chicken salad because it wasnt good to her anymore.
The reason the ingredients list is so much longer is because its a US law to also list ingredients of the ingredients Example, Wheat Flour has amylase, ascorbic acid, niacin, iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, azodicarbonamide, folic acid
@@IJFJJAJI they’re not lol they’re just trying to bash the us. Like if JJ knew what all the ingredients in the u.k pizzas he would be speechless bro on god

I work in dominos, the reason why we pierce the air bubbles on the pizza is because if we let them get any bigger it fucks up the pizza and we have to make a new one 🤌🏻
@@Alavrado yeah man it is the same thing you see with bread when it has all the holes in it, they come from yeast heating up and releasing carbon dioxide
Well you need milk, enzymes, cultures (the bacteria that turn milk into cheese), and usually salt in cheese. There isn't really much more than that. And they went crazy over "cultures" in the US cheese when cultures is also in the list for the UK cheese...
All the stuff in Enriched Flour is just vitamins and minerals: - Iron (essential mineral) - Thiamine (vitamin B1) - Niacin (vitamin B3) - Riboflavin (vitamin B2) - Folic Acid (vitamin B9) Ascorbic acid in the crust is just vitamin C. Works as a preservative as well, which is probably why it was added. Also, the crust in the US is very different. The UK has very simple crust. In the US, there's a bunch of cheese like stuff on the edges. That's why there's whey (milk protein) and enzymes (used to make cheese). Normal cheese would just melt, so they use whey protein and cornmeal instead so it stays crispy. Dextrose and maltodextrin are just different names for sugar as well. Cheese isn't a raw ingredient. The minimum needed is at least milk, enzymes, and cultures (the bacteria that transform the milk into cheese), and there isn't much more than this in the US cheese. Cultures is listed on the UK side in the video as well, so it's weird that they made a big deal of that in particular. Sodium propionate is also a naturally occuring compound in cheese. Sometimes more is added to prevent mold growth is approved for use in cheese and baked goods in the EU and US. There's nothing really concerning in the ingredients.

Not trying to be rude but when you compare the two ingredients then obviously you’re gonna react the way they did... especially after their previous video on McDonald’s
you know... vitamins are also in other things... like healthy things... you don't need them in form of chemicals in pizza. But if you think the us fast food is healthy...

For everyone wondering if 6:32 is correct it in fact correct I used to work in a takeaway and we were ALWAYS told to pop the air bubbles in pizzas as it could make the customer ill
That's why I've stopped eating out at fast food places eat at home a lot, also I learned a lot of cooking recipes and picked up new cooking skills grilling slow cooking smoking
It’s sad when they were reminiscing about the sidemen house reminded me of the old faze house and the og team ten (team ten had some baddies fr) their all memory’s now that time was was when life was good
They don't realize that most of the US ingredients are just the UK ingredients broken down further into what makes up those ingredients or just vitamines.
Because of the FDA American ingredients are required to show the chemicals even if it makes up oil or anything like that they have to show that that’s why you see that on us labels and not the Uks. You’re eating the same stuff your govt is just not required to tell you that
Thank God someone said it lmao these uk Donny's always think they are better than us no matter what but they are just too dense to look any further than the surface

Culture is some specific bacteria they put into cheese to get different flavors. So mozzarella has som specific cultures and brie have some different once
