dude this video is always coming on my auto play for some reason and i have no idea why, i leave youtube on for my dog and come back to find charlie playing starfield EVERY TIME
It’s starting to be common in America now. Fiberoptic lines are being laid daily. Used to be illegal for internet companies to lay their own cables until the last few years
guy above is correct with a normal truck and trailer you could begin laying fiber optics lines in any area... lots of contracts but not enough people running it (usually at night by small companies in sewer line electrical pipe areas in cities like denver for years now)
The add break 13 minutes into this video was perfect. The character touches the "Artifact" and immediately initiated a secret labs gaming chair advert 🤣
Everyone thought starfield was going to be star citizen just finished.....it never said it was going to be. Its a fantastic game, and super in depth, just not the no man sky star citizen (not humanly and technically possible atm) game everyone hyped it up to be. It was advertised skyrim in space and they delivered.
Calling this the same game with a different skin to fallout 4 or skyrim is crazy. Have you ever touched any of these games? Lmao. Starfield is popular for being awful, specifically worse than even the oldest Bethesda games. I'd this was a reskin of fallout 4 or skyrim, this would actually be a fun and enjoyable game...
@@James-io4kj you just play the game how you want, that’s the whole point. How much more miserable would games be if they all stuck you on a railroad track and gave you zero freedom
@@Jvk1166zThats not that bad, the only thing I hated about Fallout 4 was the voiced protagonist and lack of choices. So this seems like a better Fallout 4 imo
The more bigger you are as a gaming streamer the more babies you'll have in your chat straight up, at one point you'll just learn to ignore them for the sake of your sanity. Only responding to the chatters you actually familiar with also works
@@ThatOneGuyYouSawAMonthAgo9576 you know... Planets are planets for a reason... Not all of them have something on them, in real life does every single planet resemble earth? We got bland shit like mercury or Mars, like are you joking what did you even want?
So far it seems the open world gameplay is lacking. Needs more random events, settlements, and interactive stuff you’d see in something like RDR2. Edit: im not saying I want BGS to copy elements from other games, I’m just using an example of a game that’s implemented open world concepts so well to the point that the entire game is immersive and exciting to play. That’s all I ask from BGS. If the world truly opens up after a few hours- like you guys insist, I’ll be happy to play it.
There is plenty, you just gotta search for it cos it doesn't constantly shove it in your face. Plus the fact it is space means the content will always be more spread apart.
It makes me so mad seeing him walk by the trade authority a million times thinking he can only sell items at a kiosk and chat never even told him about the trade authority
It's not toxic when companies like Bethesda release/early release a unfinished project just to let modders finish a job they should've done in the first place
Seems like a standard Bethesda game. If you love them, you’ll love it like ppl love Fallout 4. If you’re tired of them, This won’t change your mind. That’s what I’m getting from it anyway. 🤷♂️
People Fuming over the 7/10 IGN gave the game but honestly 7/10 is what the game looks like. It’s not bad by any means, just the same old same old but in space
I think the first 5-10 hours look like a 7, but everything I've seen past that looks like a 9+ It's a Bethesda game, and I've always enjoyed them. But I'm cool with IGN giving it a 7, as it's only one reviewer's opinion, and I don't mind outlier reviews (unlike some people). It's becoming really annoying that fanboys of any console/studio/IP/etc. feel *ALL* reviews need to universally score the same thing & say the same stuff, otherwise they must be wrong or not credible... If you want everyone to say the same sh*t, why even have multiple reviews? You could just have one big review & leave it at that. No point in retreading the same stuff 50+ more times, especially if you're just going to get butthurt if someone gives a different score than you want. It was annoying when people whined about the 9.0 scores for BG3 ("oh no, it ONLY got a 9/10 instead of a 10/10! Biased haters, waaaah!") and it's annoying now.
@@corey2232exactly, would it not be beneficial for there to be variety of reviews so you can get the full picture on what a game is. Unless the people crying only want there to be 10/10s so everybody buys the game that they act like they made. Everyone seems to tie their identity to a game which is why they get so angry when you criticize it.
@@puneetdhillon4770Deathloop fucking sucks coming from a PlayStation fan that got to play it. It was so mid. I still don't see what people see in that game.
It’s Bethesda my man, they always look lifeless and robotic. Still a great game though, way better than what I expected, so I can’t wait to start actually playing it.
I wish no man’s sky had a starfield like story and I wish starfield had a no man’s sky planetary system perhaps one day we can get a perfect game like that
@@tombowombo- Nice! Where are you currently in the game? I'm at the Arena fighting. I just started yesterday (first time playing) and i'm playing a berserker-esque two hander orc. I always get stuck on side quests so probably a while until i get to deliver this damn amulet/necklace haha.
@@tombowombo- Cool! I've heard that magic is supposed to be really busted in Oblivion? Might make do some more magic next character to try. Good luck on your adventure!
@@archersterling6726 I disagree there games have fun gameplay interesting quests and are generally pretty fun. And they have that sense of exploration that is extremely hard to capture.
@@hackergaming6372any good Bethesda games, not Bethesda “published” games, that have been good in the past 10 years? Guess Skyrim remastered and that’s a “remaster”.
It’s funny because I was one of those people making fun of twitch chat for shitting on the game, but I played it this morning and I already refunded, idk why I was expecting something good from Bethesda, I’m an idiot
@@kurvas12peligrosas I played it through gamepass so I only lost 32 dollars but I refunded so I got my money back, Gonna buy Remnant 2 as i was insanely exited for that
@Super_Boa any game with the mod support Bethesda has will end up good. It would be harder not to. They literally make bug fixes and script extenders just to make the mods work. Add quests/fix combat/change leveling progression. The base honestly has very little to do with the modders. Not to say the games are bad, but it's a weird thing to give credit to Bethesda for the modders.
@@Super_Boathey're not the strongest foundation for mods and the fact that they're good after being modded is because the vanilla versions are terrible. That's the whole reason why there's a modding community surrounding their games in the first place.
I don't think I'll be buying a game on release day for a while, it's just not worth it at all. Especially with the $100.00 plus Aussie price tags for new games.
@@Tribuneoftheplebs it's actually ridiculous, Diablo 4, Starfield, etc. are 100+ for base game, Switch games are ridiculously expensive too. The only way I would want to play a game within the realms of that price is if I am getting 100+ hours of content out of it.
@@gingerperksgamingyou will be getting that many hours from this game since there are over 1000 planets, space battles, and a crap ton of other stuff in it and about to be added to it and they just added more stuff to it with the patch they just released as well.
Usually with Bethesda games it's best to wait a few months for the big bugs to be ironed out and optimization to improve, so it's a smart choice even if you're hyped for it.
I feel like this is one of those games where the odd profession is going to win out in the end game. e.g. Professor, Sculptor, Chef, end up having some ridiculous OP benefit.
This looks boring tbh. It's going to need mods to be interesting. Like that contraband being transferred to another ship you stole is BS. That would've been an immersive way of getting away from enforcement.
Wow holy shit, people are so hesitant to call anything Bethesda does "good" (NOT Goty worthy) because of fo76 it's honestly insane, I see so many people clearly thinking it's a good game but they're just saying "it's ok" or "above average" like why is it so hard to admit it's a good game that met expectations? So many people thought this was gonna be a space sim when it was in no way advertised as one. It was literally advertised as a Bethesda game in space like idk why anyone is surprised with how it turnt out.
Those suits must be magic because the surface of venus is actually well over 200 degrees Fahrenheit in temperature. Must have internal cooling systems of some kind or type.
Definitely magic, cuz they let you breathe in a vacuum but god forbid you get too close to a gas vent otherwise you'll damage your lungs! Inside that sealed suit. Because it's a vacuum. A sealed suit that lets noxious gasses in apparently.
@@ryan0150 The UI is tasteless and not user friendly. The gunplay is all over the place (same as in FO4 tbh, need 200 mods to make it okay). The story is uninteresting. The exploration is a hassle. The spaceships are gimmicks. The inventory management is worse than ever. I can say the actual handcrafted cities look good. So yes, this is mediocre and it could have been 1000 times better if not for corporate greed and todd howard.
If they hand built every planet like Star citizen it would take until 2077 for Starfield to release lol. Can't wait for Star citizen to fully release that will be the best space game tbh.
Y tho? the core gameplay loop doesn't even revolve around spending your time questing on those planets, I think the game is still beautifully made and provides plenty for people. People acting like if this game isn't the second coming of Jesus that means its ass.
@@noolsoov8374 yup, just played for 7 hours with my buddy. We both love Sarah and the adoring fan, and my homie loves his in-game parents 😂 so funny since he’s role playing an assassin type character.
Watched his original video and upon clicking this skipped halfway so I didn’t have spoilers that I would remember and landed right where the OG video was with the bribe and desert haha.
No Shepard MC, no alien humanoid npcs or companions, bad story, chatgpt tier dialogue, boring combat, no fun multiplayer, etc. Starfield wishes it was half as good as the original ME trilogy
@@Roe777how could you possibly have these complaints already, did you play through the whole game? Or are you just basing your opinion off what you see on this stream?
I wouldn't mind that if it got released in 2012. There's no excuse for them to be taking so long between games when they aren't really upgrading that much. I remember when GTA San Andreas came out 2 years after vice city and was 800 times bigger and better. I wouldn't mind just re-skinning skyrim but if they are going to do that they should have given us like 10 more games since then.
@@ziare2goated188 doesn’t The Witcher 3 and CP2077 use the same RED engine and they’re night and day. Don’t the GTA games from 4 to RDR2 use the RAGE engine? Night and day.
Gamers today have such unrealistic expectations. Bro we are another 10 to 20 years out b4 what your asking for now happens. GTA 6 isnt going to change your life when it comes out either. It will be within the confines of what GTA online has achieved. Obviously Bethesda isn't at the same level as the highest game studios, but its a good steppingstone for them
