Thanks for reacting to this amazing song ! It’s the pre-track of Jimin’s new album that came out yesterday ! This man is about to take up on the whole industry if I’m being honest ! As you already know, Jimin is one of the seven members of BTS. Before debuting with BTS in 2013, he was a top student in contemporary dance. He’s been dancing since a very young age and has always dreamt of being a performer. On top of that, Jimin has one of the rarest voices in the industry. He’s also a conter tenor (like Michael Jackson for example) which is one of the rarest vocal range for males. Each member of BTS has an amazing story to tell be honest. If you want to react to more of them, I think they will surprise you on many, MANY levels ! They have, no lie, the wildest range of music any artist have and hundreds of songs. That means, no matter what your genre is, you'll find songs you like and some you'll enjoy less. Anyways, as much as medias like to put groups in a box, BTS is no typical "boyband" and even in the Kpop industry, they're totally different. They're pioneers in some way. But most of all, they've been working very hard for a decade, literally starting from scratch in a company that was on the verge on bankruptcy only to have made this company one of the biggest economic sources in South Korea nowadays. There are 3 rappers (two of them were underground rappers before debut) and 4 singers. And on top of being amazing rappers, singers AND dancers ; BTS members write, produce, take part in the artistic concepts, music videos, dance choreographies, ideas... Everything basically, in collaboration with their company staff and artists. They're really on a line of their own and I think you'll see that for yourself when you react to more. That being said, you're really perceptive on many levels, can't wait to see more of your reactions :) If you do chose to react to BTS, I'll suggest maybe their « BTS: Tiny Desk (Home) Concert » (which happened during the pandemic) to slowly start. It has a few songs that will allow you to discover the group a little bit. Also, I think you should definitely react to the different fan-made guides about BTS. They'll put you on many informations about the group, the members, how they work and everything basically. Because above learning about their group history, these guides make you understand their music a lot more in some way. That was my case when I first became a fan (and I'm sure I'm not the only one). I guess learning about the background of each member, their background as a group and the way they work for their craft, makes you understand the music (and the artistry) in a much more complete way. The most complete (and amazingly made) guide is : "A Guide to BTS Members: The Bangtan 7" (by Taylor Mari). Hope you'll react to it ! In any case, enjoy the journey !!
