I find it repugnant how Western media are so negative of any type of positive offensive from the Ukraine Army defending their homeland. Contre to more accurate information Ukraine is pushing Russia's counter-offensive from Kharkin and surrounding regions?
@@Grid519 I don’t see how Ukraine can win. It’s totally one sided and this was known by Ukraines sponsors if you want to call it that. Also remember that Zelenskyy opted for war. Russia offered several attempts at a peace deal but in each case the USA and Co scuppered the peace deals . USA planned for war against Russia using Ukraine as the meat.
Last summers offensive was obviiously going to fail....because the world advertised it. THey even knew exactly where they were gonna hit by the time they did.
Ukraine made it pretty obvious, and putting out a trailer for it? S wtf. But in all seriousness, it wouldn't have succeeded anyway. They had no air superiority, never massed enough power in one spot, and apparently never thought about breaching large minefields. Air power was the death knell though, it was doomed before they ever started.
@@swiftusmaximus5651 Not to mention a certain geriatric. I agree, the US "strategy" in Russia is not intended to help Ukraine. It is the same failed plan they used in Syria. Which make sense, the same scumbags in the DoS, DoD, and Whitehouse who set up syria are also doing ukraine.
The bill was signed a month ago..Every single day since that aid bill was signed ammunition and weapons have been coming into ukraine. Every single day. Ukraine has artillery. We are now seeing artillery in the videos instead of just drones.
Ammunition and weapons never stopped going to Ukraine. Every bit if aid has arrived on time. The 'stalled' aid is merely political theater. It wasn't due to arrive until early summer. They're still receiving aid approved last year. The simple fact is time and attrition has caught up with rhem. All this time everyone lol'd about stupid, weak, untrained, unarmed, demoralized Russia cant even take one small village, they've been following their historical strategy of moving like a glacier - slow, methodical and unstoppable. Russia is recruiting more volunteers than Ukraine is conscripting, putting them through full training cycle while Ukraine is sending them straight to the front, producing more ammunition than the whole of NATO, expanding their military and economic partnerships and have exhausted Ukrainian air defenses. NATO has very little escalation left, but to send troops and that will the worst mistake anyone has ever made in the history of Mankind.
@@curio78haha, russia is in no position to “allow” NATO to do or not do anything. You russians don’t like to admit how thoroughly depleted your military is. We all know it’s true: russia is about to collapse and the world does not fear or respect russia. Not even a little but.
What the hell? We really are living in a clown world I know it is what many of the sun's viewers want to hear but come on this is beyond insanity at this point
Ukraine can beat Russia with these 3 things? Come on a bit of common sense must make you question that statement surely? Over 2 years into this bloody mess, tens if not hundreds of thousands dead or wounded leading to massive lack of manpower, but they will win? I think it would have a massive escalation on where in Ukraine Russia would retaliate. For a start the west would need to supply the long range weapons to do the job, in huge numbers. Russia as we know has plenty of their own heavy weapons with which to retaliate with. That’s my guess anyway

Peace requires compromise. The invasion of another country is the opposite of compromise. What you're really calling for is appeasement, i.e. let the aggressor have what they want and hope they don't attack again
I've heard that Russia's crude oil exports have gone up and at discount prices. Wouldn't this cause oil prices to go down? Ukraine has only targeted Russian refineries which impacts the Russian ability to refine crude oil domestically. The Ukrainians have yet to target Russia's ability to produce oil.
That is why geopolitical information is important, the speculation of raising oil prices is from corrupt governments. By only selling crude oil, Russia loses a lot and enters into competition with other crude oil suppliers.
Crude is a low profit commodity, refined products carry a much higher profit margin. Putin enforced a second block on refined product exports for 6 months starting back in February. So currently no profits on refined products are coming into Russia and damaging their ability to refine means that potentially Russia will have to start importing refined products just to supply their own domestic needs. For a country that has 60% of their income produced from the oil industry this is a devastating development. For a major oil producer having to sell your crude cheap to other countries and then buy expensive gasoline back from them is highly embarrassing for Russia and financially damaging.
Yes, they are trying to choke off the supply of refined oil to the Russian war machine not halt their production of oil in general, although, obviously they would love to.
Ukraine doesn't have the capacity to touch far eastern energy pumping and refinement facilities, so no, it won't happen, Ukraine is already on the brink of defeat with the capture of Kharkiv ultimately leading to the capture of Kiev in time. Ukraine simply hasn't the manpower left to defend let alone mount another offensive.
General is stating exactly why the Russians are attacking in the NE. Kharkiv regional forces (drone & artillery) have indeed been shelling not only Russian military but also collatoral damaging nearby towns, villages and city center of Belgorad. How would you like it if London was being shelled across the pond from France? The Russian forces had daily reports on all these attacks along the Kharkiv front. They had to do something. Now with US/UK/EU all saying they can attack inside Russia? The Russians need a bigger buffer zone for when Trump / Putin / Zelensky all sit down for cease-fires and distribution of new property and mineral rights that Ukraine is fighting to win back from pro-Russian citizens in their own country. Countries have been split up before... Northern Ireland, Germany, Palestine, Pakistan, Croatia and many others across the world along ideological borders. Stop the wars!
OCSE observers post-2014 reported so many cross-border truce violations, that neither side can honestly say that all hostilities will cease when a national cease fire gets underway... hence Russia's need for these buffer zones.
@@joerosen5464 I'll go even further: if you personally aren't in the military or in the process, YOU aren't invested fully. US, UK, and all NATO countries are struggling with manpower issues. It seems to me a lot of people want their country to "go all in", but never seem to find a good reason to put on a uniform themselves.
Do you guys realise the amount of money the USA is making from this War? 7 of the 10 Largest Oil and Gas Producers on the Planet are listed on the US Stock Exchange, and pay Taxes to the US Federal Government. The USA has grown a $100 Billion a year LPG Industry to Western Europe since this War began. Why on Earth would they want it to end? If Europe wants it to end, Europe has to do something about it. The Yanks are just profiting mightily, like they always do. Love from Australia.
@@RantTheRetort Self-evidently, the US *doesn't* care more than the Europeans. It's reticence to do anything more than supply Ukraine "just enough" not to be defeated says it all. Politically (be it under Trump or Biden) the US, along with Germany, is politically by far the weakest of those supporting Ukraine. When the US pledges "we'll be with you to the end", everybody now knows that doesn't mean a goddamn thing. Not once has the US said that the American strategic goal is for Ukraine to win this war. Virtually everybody else has stated that this is the goal. The US says that it will support Ukraine so that Ukraine won't be defeated. Virtually everybody else says that they will support Ukraine to defeat Russia. The US says that "we won't abandon Ukraine" after having done just that for the previous 7 months. Others spend more to compensate while the US House of Representatives enjoyed its (multiple) vacations. This lack of American backbone is precisely why the US doesn't countenance the use of US weapons on Russian territory or US boots on the ground. Whereas half a dozen European countries are prepared to do both. The UK has given the go-ahead for its long-range fires to hit targets on Russian soil. It says something when a superpower quakes with fear when Russia talks about escalation. While small Eastern European countries (that have been directly threatened by Russia) show a stiff middle finger to Russia, step up and say nothing is off the table to help Ukraine win. And other countries increase their support when similarly directly threatened by Russia (including the Netherlands, Denmark, the UK and France). In case you've slipped behind, you should note that currently European aid to Ukraine is more than double that of the US. When it comes to *hard cash* rather than the American habit of putting dollar values on old weapons and old ammunition that the US will never now use (due to its age) and would have to pay a billion or more to safely dispose of, the Europeans are spending several times the US contribution. And in case you've been asleep for the last 8 months, the US went AWOL right at a critical moment of the war. The Europeans took up the slack as much as possible given the 2023 capacity of the European arms industry. Next year and the year after, the vast majority of aid to Ukraine will come from Europe (including weapons and ammunition). That's guaranteed for the foreseeable future since this is an existential crisis for the Europeans. The US, on the other hand, may provide absolutely nothing at all. Trump may provide nothing of a dysfunctional political system may be paralysed (as it was last year). Even now, in terms of GDP per capita (the amount each citizen spend via taxes as a proportion of their wealth) in support of Ukraine, the US is in 19th place. All the countries above it are European. And even then that's if you consider old American ammunition (that's close to being worthless) priced into American aid contributions as if it were brand new. The US should take note. But as I stated, Biden and Sullivan should take note especially. Because their timidity in the face of every Russian is embarrassing and actually puts the United States in greater danger. Don't take my word for it. Take the word of ex-US Ambassadors and Generals who all are saying the same thing. It certainly puts Europeans in greater danger. Which is why they're doing way more than the US right now.
Ukraine will win when other countries absorb the concept that they can fight Russia in the Ukraine, or wait and possibly end up trying to fight them in the next country, which may be your own.
More than 3:1 is enough to make this unsustainable for Russia despite the population advantage. Russia is just faking it, and the West knows it. None of those gains are sustainable over the long run. Also, those gains are made possible due to US restrictions, where Ukraine is not allowed to hit targets inside Russia. When Ukraine is allowed to hit targets inside Crimea, Russia cannot do much in South.
Sure, we'll set up our own production lines, our own weapons facilities, and match the US production, and then we can have 50% of the US international customers too which drops US sales 50%. Are you the arsenal of democracy or not? Make your mind up.
It's ironic and easy for Americans to say why can't the EU supply weapons, when the majority of the world's weapons are made in America... its like asking Mc Donalds in Europe to make ATACMS 🤣

Be honest and say this to your voters.... Are we here to prolong the pain and suffering of the Ukrainian people or are we gonna send some serious stuff to end the Russian invasion.?
The west does not care about Ukraine. Ukraine has been sacrificed for another American agenda, to weaken Russia in an attempt at regime change. There is enough evidence out there to support this. The west will supply just enough to keep it going as long as possible. A peace treaty was agreed to a month after the war started but the west stepped in and scuppered it.

Hitting oil refineries actually brings oil prices diwn as russia cannot refine the oil and must export. Rather it causes petrol and diesel shortages in russia and pushes those prices up
But then Russia makes more money from exports, Russia has ukraine snookered from all angles and the west will run out of money very soon whereas Russia is not even borrowing anything
Well, since everyone has basically admitted that its the NATO troops operating the powerful weapons, having US troops shooting US weapons into Russia is WW3. But Russia is content to ignore NATO troops providing targetting, guidance, operating weapons only impacting in Ukraine. Don a uniform and serve your country, if you get your way, you'll soon be abke to show Ukraine how its done.
Are the British 'experts' taking account of the fact that they live on a very small island with a dense population that would fit into Russia about 100 times? He states “Winning depends on the arrival of ammunition from the United States”. Where are the other 31 countries in NATO? Ukraine is your neighbor not ours. When you see on the title, World at War, something should be going off like some sort of alarm in everyone's head. What is good about what is happening in Ukraine is that literally no one can say that we all should be prepared for something different than we have ever experienced before---I am talking about those of us on the continent and those of you in Great Britain. Russia has crossed the Rubicon with its latest incursion into the heart of Ukraine; the one thing all of should be doing is visualizing a rapid end to all the wars currently going on in the world.
This war can only be ended if Russia is defeated or be convinced that it can not win. The more hesitation of Nato and US in helping Ukraine to win , the more encouraging for Putin to be more aggressive...and you will see which country will be on Putin next target !. For the sake of Europe, for the sake of peace and prosperity of the free world, Nato/US need to act more aggressive and decisive to defeat the Russia Putin once and for all. # help Ukraine to win , not just to survive the war !#
