Greatest respect to Ukrainians. They have shown passion, rugged determination and adaptability. They have redefined tank warfare forever by their innovative use of drones, their strategy now and their daring raids into russia. Putin is doomed
OK, so 3 years later or 5 years later the war ends with the same result or worse than 2022 situation on the ground. How is that a victory for Ukraine, just because it inflicted similar losses on Russia? Crazy stuff, you've been played, and I'm totally objective.
Nope, I watched it aswell. PUTIN basically bullied him into changing his conversation to agree with him 'PUTIN'!! Rather than listen to a rational member of his 'Congress?'??
It's not working, don't believe the BS media. Do you really believe Ukraine can hold any land in Russia? They have a few soldiers moving around with in Russia's unprotected border, there lines within Donbass are collapsing. Russia isn't getting distracted and are pushing forward in the Donbass.
It would be naive to think this was just Ukraine. It's also the NATO militaries advising left, right and centre. Somebody, somewhere, looking at satellite photos of the places, told the Zelenski military that the fortifications on the Russian border looked distinctly poor compared to the ones now in place in the Donbas region in Ukraine. Add to that the change of heart and the permission to use NATO weapons on Russian soil and maybe F15 coming online, and well, this makes sense. Why try to go through it when you can just go around?
We say 'Glory to Ukraine' so readily... but these people are genuinely doing glorious things every day. Their skill and bravery are astonishing. Ukraine will be a valuable partner in NATO and we have a lot to learn from them.
@@gdutfulkbhh7537Beyond that, Ukraine is a friend and asset to democracy the world over. I can hardly wait to see Ukraine in the post war days, truly it will be a nation of great people and industry that will achieve greatness in every thing it does. 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
Russia had the initiative in 2022 when they invaded using shear force of numbers to embed themselves. Hence last summer, the Ukrainian offensive was stalled due to minefields and trenches. Now Ukraine has invaded Russia. No extensive minefields to cross. Just like Pregozhin, I believe that the Ukrainian forces could make extensive incursions into Russia with only conscripts and worn out military to try to halt them. The field is theirs for the taking assuming logistics can keep up.
Actually Russia had the initiative in 2014 when they first moved into Crimea. They probably could have taken the whole country then without firing a shot. I would not say the same for their 2022 efforts. They stranded several battalions on their road to Kyiv, by forgetting the importance of supply logistics, namely food and fuel. Russian troops walked 40 miles back to border. With all that said, the guy on this interview is a clown. Yes Ukraine is surprising and making impressive pushes. But Russia still has many more resources at its disposal, demographics in their favor. It’s still Russia’s war to lose. The overall goal is not to conquer them overnight, but to bog them down and force them to burn through their military resources. War not at a tipping point. Will go on for years.
if he actually worked for his people's betterment, they would want him Leader for Life; but working for the people isn't the communist way - he wudda accidentally walked out out a 6th-story window long ago, end of story
Everybody is missing the point of this invasion, Kursk and Belgorod invasion is a tactical manuver used all the time in human history.. basically Russians are well entrenched in Ukrain and have supply lines behind them as well as artilary support, so Ukrain is doing a sickle manouver where they cut Russion supply lines and artilary and force the well entrenched Russians in Ukrain to move, so Ukrain can advance were Russians were entrenched
I don't think you can really say they're cutting supply lines in the classical sense, but the aim is definitely to draw off forces or more crucially, reinforcements
Only works if the enermy does not have enough man power to fill the void. The Russian front lines are still moving forward and taking Ukrainian lands. The Kursk invasion looks like is stabilizing and soon it may collapse. The question is does Ukraine have enough resources and man power to sustain the invasion?
@user-yc9zs2wz7r They are though, look at the main rail way line that cuts through Kursk, Ukraine is close to controlling a section of it. That rail line is one of the biggest supply routes for Russians in Ukraine.
Except Russia has hundreds of thousands of troops that are nowhere near the front lines so the few thousands Nazis will achieve nothing other than dig their own graves...and still Ukrainian front lines will continue to collapse...and Ukraine have wasted their last strategic reserves
Do Brits know they have been invaded?............oh yes they seem to have noticed a bit recently. The difference is Putin can easily kick his western invaders out.
@@joewoodchuck3824 Russian State TV are already talking of the possibility of losing the war. This means one thing... the Russian public most likely have no clue Russia has been legit invaded!
@jim2376 You are saying, Ukraine is winning because all it lost is 20% of it's territory, about 1,8 million men are dead or crippled, the country will owe about $400 billion to their American " ( wink) friends", and country had 51,6 million citizens in 1991, and soon they will have 1/3 of that, with 1/2 of people over the age of 40? If Ukraine continues to " win" like this, it will disappear as a nation .
Any russian aviator knows full well that F16's can hit them before the russian plane is able to detect the F16. So you don't need superiority with F16's you only need to say " Who wants to go first? "
"F16s have 'stunned' Putin?" Is the title more Times Radio clickbait, or did Times Radio just forget to include that part? Either way, good video, bad headline writing.
I recommend JVC Wired Lightweight Headphones - Black, HA-L50-B-E only £8.64 I use high end studio head phones with my audio interface but the JVCs are light, cheap and great for watching TV or as I am doing now listening to this through my laptop. The sound quality is good so I've started to use them to monitor my guitar.
These analysts saying taking kursk npp or holding the land is far fetched, every day Ukrainians get closer to the npp. They are now just 20kms away with only 1 line of defence near the main highway. Doesn't sound so far fetched to me given ukraine have already pushed 40km into russia
Ukraine will get nowhere near the Kursk NPP. Ukraine is taking mass casualties for this PR stunt. It will be over in a few weeks, just like all the other incursions into Russia.
Exactly. I also don’t know why they keep acting like Russia has the capacity to recapture 1000s of square kilometers of their territory that will be in Ukrainian control as the result of the invasion. Russia’s minimal progress in Donetsk which has taken nearly an entire year at massive cost in men & material to make is being called “decisive” by these same analysts. Ukraine has captured over twice the territory at minimal cost in ONE WEEK. Why would Russia, using primarily a conscripted home army, be capable of retaking captured areas of Kursk in a reasonable time frame? The answer is they wouldn’t. Any offensive action taken by the Russians since the early days of the war has been lumbering, minimally successful, and unsustainably costly. Any operation to recapture Kursk oblast would be the same.
@@benjames4502 UNTRAINED CONSCRIPTS are now Ru army. They lay down weapons as soon as they see Ukrainian. They ARE smart, because what can an untrained guy do against the experienced west trained soldiers ??? They were taught combined arms operations and KNOW every russian trick in the book...
This is a very terrible situation on the side of Russia, seeing their opponent advancing in to their territory it's a scaring situation that could lead to their defeat to the Ukrainians, but on the other hand, it's a retreat to prepare better. Again on the side of the Ukrainians too, though it's a great advancement but must be manage properly by monitoring it's surrounding at all time most especially their Military satellites to continue updating the defense team deployed there or else they may end up loosing men power there. But question is will this war come to an end now?
My question is how long Russia can keep this up. So much equipment has been lost so far it will take decades to replace those light and hard armored vehicles and the experienced personnel lost. This won't take another 3 years from what it looks like.
Everything is carefully standardized for this video -- picture, color, scan rate, encoding, etc. But for some reason, the audio volume of videos is not standardized.
Ukraine is fighting for its own survival and Russia is definitely gonna learn in the hard way because Ukrainians are warriors and they don't joke when it comes to fighting an enemy. You can as well comfirm these fact from their boxing champ. Glory to Ukraine 🇺🇦
I can't believe russia aren't able to use their air force. They wouldn't last a month against the US and uk. Ukraine are doing all this without much air power. Superb
@Brez6645 yea but they utilised the jungle and tunnels. And they are obviously better at warfare than the russians. The technological advantages today between military powers is also much wider. Russia apparently have great weapons
The US and UK? You must be joking. What serious war did they fight after the Vietnam? The UK practically doesn't have a land army anymore. Get off your high horse.
It is easier to hold an enemy at a river, than it is to hold them on land with no river.... The enemy must cross the river to attack, and for Russians crossing rivers has been quite catastrophic so far.
Very pessimistic and overly cynical analyst. I’ve seen footage of them attacking an airbase only 280km from Moscow at Savasleika Airbase Nizhny Novgorod Oblast. As much as the odds are stacked against the Ukrainians. I think he forgets how fast things can change and the fact people have said Ukraine. Will lose “any month now”. For years.
On the topic of whether or not Kyiv intends to or is able to hold this Russian territory "long term", many analysists seem to miss the fact that within about a month or six weeks, this area of the world will become exceedingly wet, muddy, and mucky. This will make it all but impossible for either side to utilize heavy equipment and armor effectively on the battlefield, creating a period of some relative safety for Ukraine as it will be far more difficult for Russia to dislodge those troops. As such, Kyiv may only need to hold this territory for another month or two in order to create the conditions whereby the territory is able to be held into the wintertime. This wet weather certainly won't last until the American inauguration, but it can give Kyiv a respite as well as shorten and split up the timeframe that Moscow has available to attempt to reduce this incursion prior to the inauguration.
The USA and its many allies couldn't defeat Taliban in 20 years. The Afghanistan government army which backed by the USA lost 70,000 soldiers, Taliban lost 50,000 soldiers.
This gentleman is trapped in a defensive mindset. His first comment about the Kursk offensive is about holding on to the gains, his comment about the F-16s is that their best use is as a deterrent, and his comment about Russian attack aircraft is that they won't risk getting shot down. Ukraine demonstrated a couple things in Kursk 1. The tank is not obsolete. 2. Striking fast and going deep behind enemy lines will gain real estate and yield lots of prisoners. 3. In this war one nation is good and the other is a collection of war criminals. I'm disappointed in this offensive. I had hoped in would head south and visit destruction on Russian supply lines and rear echelon assets. No war is ever won by defense.
my guy it was a basic diplomacy tactic, which is why Trump gave us years of peace when everyone called him a warmonger. In reality all the wars came back as soon as Biden and the establishment came back into power. Aren't you tired of this?
If the Ukes DO take the Nuke Plant and hold it as a bargaining chip -- who could blame them? Do that, Ukraine, and it will be something new we can admire in this David vs. Goliath story.
It's concerning. While Russia was fighting in The Ukraine there could be no justification to the Russian people to use Nuclear weapons. If the Russian homeland is invaded it could be used to justify the use of limited Nuclear strikes by Russia. At the same time I can understand why the Ukranians have done this after themselves being invaded.
Can you question these guests as to how they know that Russia has all the flight ordinance they assume it has. Why do they think Russia has more than almost nothing?
