@@curbtheman9966 I bet bro it looks fun with all that modern equipment. Life servers are fun but I feel like it’s not for me. The whole reason I got arma was for milsim or more realistic experience. Hopefully they start working on it again and make a new mod.

@@revivalofnutrient lol reeealism.. just FYI that OG-7V warhead he took down the Bradley with was a HE-Frag round, not HEAT. That's anti-personnel. The Bradley is built to withstand those so if you want realism you want to see a PG-7V loaded in that tube. Essentially the OG-7V is equivalent to a 40mm grenade launcher, but rocket propelled..

No, it's a mod

The main feature of the game is a combined arms aspect set in the cold-war era 1989. There are mods that bring it forward to the modern setting but the game itself is more or less a remake of the original Arma that released in 2001.. A tribute in many ways, the name Reforger is basically implying they're bringing arma into the future on a brand new game engine as they have been using the same one and amending it for decades.. Reforger is the testing ground to develop the new engine's capabilities from the ground up, it's late into it's proposed development due to delays and bug fixing but ultimately at the end will feature many things previous titles didn't.. like a working electrical grid, across the entire map yet to be implemented but Arma's always been a slow starter, Bohemia's good at what they do, they just aren't rushing to do them.. The game series has been around 22 years, I've played them all and each has progressively been better than the previous.. This is a step into the future and toward Arma 4. Yes it's worth it, but not for this mod alone, this is a tiny portion of what the game represents.. Arma 3 is something to look at for comparison to what Arma 4 could be like once they're finished with Reforger.

​​@@Twizted86Thats not what Reforger means. The game is named after the real life NATO exercise REFORGER which is short for "Return of forces to germany". It was an annual exercise in which the US practiced the reinforcement of existing troops in West Germany with men and equipment from the US. Of course tactical exercises on the frontline were also conducted. It would have been renamed Operation REFORGER if it ever had to be actually done in response to a Soviet attack.

Eu tactical is a good one I play,they keep mods at min to so the server runs well,I find darkgru severs have to much and get choppy,and I'm in north America,that being said tw servers run hell of alot better

I was wondering that too, I can see the frag rounds setting fires and such but knocking out inside crew doesn't seem legit.

@curbtheman9966 No that's not what he's saying, the rockets modelled in the video are OG7 fragmentation rockets used for anti infantry purposes, they would barely scratch an armoured vehicle yet you're knocking out vehicles with them

@@pyrobears0474 the Bradley is a modded vehicle so it's likely not exactly legit in terms of specifications... The base game is set in 1989 so best armour us unmodded players got is a LAV-25 or BTR-80. Which is fine for us, because base gameplay is fuckin legit.. the modern stuff is fine i guess but everyone's always got a suppressor or high tech shit that as we've seen in Ukraine in recent years, is not often seen.. Even with Ukraine getting all the fancy donations, it's still our crap that was already obsolete in most cases that we were happy to hand over so we didn't have to spend money upgrading them.. instead a lot of the gear donated is being replaced by brand new systems.

@@Twizted86 kind of confused on what your trying to say. All I am saying is that the round should not have penetrated the Bradley. The OG-7V round literally has little to no penetration. So even if that was a humvee it shouldn't have been able to pen.
