I was crying and was so touched watching this video. Yes in Jesus we have HOPE in Eternity. I was so inspired and challenged by the courage and faith of these Ukrainian Christians. I have never had a personal encounter with Jesus, but I have felt Jesus in my life. There are tugs I have felt, a way of saying to get away from something and/or to stop thinking and talking about something. I was not even thinking of stopping when those tugs happened. Those tugs are from Jesus. He is guiding me in my life. There are times I have had a voice in my head saying to not give up. This is my relationship with Jesus. I have wanted to see Him, but there is something I realized. I don’t need to see Him because I know He is there, despite the fact I can’t see Him. It takes a lot of faith to come to that conclusion and stand by it as truth. Those tugs are proof He is there. Jesus communicates with us in ways we understand. Just because you don’t see Him does not mean He is not there, working in your life and changing it into something beautiful. Never forget that. Stay strong and have faith. We all can do it. The Devil and those who do his work will lose.

I actally sang together with Ukrainian and Czech choirs almost two decades ago. Ukrainians are mind-blowing because they do the German and Russian lineage of choir culture at the same time, being similar to the Finns in this regard.

Beautiful. This made me cry. Their faith in the resurrection of Jesus Christ helps sustain them during these tragic days. It’s what helped my grandparents & great-grandparents cope with the horrors brought upon them by the Russian Empire.
