I love seeing your work it is absolutely amazing!! I have one question though. I have seen you write with a pencil in the beginning of the videos and I was wondering if this comes off in the end or what you have to do to get it off. Thank you

Yes, normally when removing the wax the pencil marks come off. If for some reason they don't then I wipe the egg down with mineral spirits.

Hello, I get my wax, dyes and kistka from Wax Art Supply for my pysanky. If you are into carving you can use a dremel, otherwise you may look on the internet for a high speed hand piece/drill. The only name I can think of and I'm not sure if they are still in business is Paragrave.

I am very new to pysanky. I use a candle and kistka. I watch a lady do continuous lines and asked did she use an electric kistka. she said she uses a “kistka with introduced hot bees wax”. Can you explain to me what she means?

Mary, I'm not sure what she means. The electric kistka keeps the wax hot so yes you can write continuous lines as long as the wax holds out. And, about the dyes they can last one month to a few years. There are many dye suppliers and each make their dyes in different ways.
