This version sucks butchering the classics. Try a real authentic version done by Christopher Hogwood with the Academy of Ancient Music that is a Baroque ensemble that plays original period instruments. At least, Hogwood gets it right. Vivaldi would be very proud of Hogwood, not this Roth trash.

I don't like this kind of performance. It looks and sounds stilted, affected and tacky to me. What is the point exactly? Having said that, Uli is an incredible talented musician and his material with Scorpions was awesome.
The fact that an electric guitar is playing the four seasons to pitch is reason enough for this to exist. The playing done by Uli is also beautifully controlled unlike many other performces of this kind(TSO, YM) and this is just a truly inspiring movement of music played by a very unique guitar and guitar player. Whether you “like” it or not, there’s not much stuff out there like this because nobody ever wants to out in the work to make it happen anymore.
I could be wrong, but I think difference is uli Jon Roth plays (greatest hits from1595) as close to original as possible. From what I hear true classical musicians don’t like ‘progressive’ kinda prejudice purest. Some of the old pieces can be drab I guess. Steve vai added to Paganini’s (I don’t know original song title) but calls it (Eugene’s trick bag) from the movie crossroads. Uli Jon Roth plays the original like paganini 200 years ago? Forgive me i don’t know exact year.
