Thank you Brother for a Great tip. The other one of these ice makers that I had to repair was one of the limit switches. There's not a lot that really goes wr6with these units. They do get EXTREMELY dirty in the ice making bowl and in the clear hose going from the pump up to the bowl. Make sure to clean the bowl when you take the control off. There are 4 screws under the top after you remove the back.
Thank you this helped me fix my mom's icemaker. She had nasty gunk on that little pin sensor thing and some plastic in the chute the water comes out of. It is sitting in the kitchen with a tray full of water right now that will hopefully soon be ice.
There’s two sensors on the right and left sides just above the bucket. They get covered from the mineral building up and the machine thinks the ice is full.
