The original ultimate Spider-Man was lots of fun. I wish it went a little farther like seeing Peter go to college but at least he got a happy ending. At least with the new run we can see a version of him happy. The only thing I think needs improving is having things go at a faster pace. A 15 year old humiliating the Kingpin and crippling his operations in just the first month of his superhero career is legendary to me.
I can’t speak on the new one quality but I heard good things but I have read most of the original usm run and it’s peak and this version of Peter is my favorite version
Honestly I can’t choose either because both of them are freaking fantastic and as a huge fan of Spider-Man the old ultimate Spider-Man got me into comics and made me fan of Spider-Man in the comics, while the new ultimate Spider-Man is freaking fantastic and makes me so happy to see Peter Parker and Mary Jane be married and they have their kids mayday Parker the future spider girl and Benjy Parker their son in this new universe is really amazing and freaking fantastic in my opinion and is ten times better then asm which is a complete a failure of a book right now, new ultimate Spider-Man is giving us Spider-Man fans everything we ever wanted is a massive success in my opinion.
I love Ultimate Spider-Man! I grew up with Ultimate Spider-Man! But to answer your question, I prefer the original 1610 Ultimate Universe but I am glad we have the new one because I actually don’t like 616 not even the Lee, Ditko, and Romita run.
