Northern lights season started with a bang in Iceland and worldwide.
Beautiful displays for days on end, with a few nights a chance to see an overhead corona. When activity is very strong this sometimes causes the rays or rayed bands to converge into one point where they form a corona.
The crown of the northern lights. This usually doesn´t last long, sometimes a few seconds. This night it kept going on for a few minutes, the ultimate aurora display.
