clippard does make 1 way flow restrictors that you can use on the front of the ram to allow air to flow easy in but not out.

@@LordHyren they do but the key is to be able to dial in the needed flow rate as to not slow down your ROF to a dribble, but to just slow down the closure of the bolt enough to not rip a paintball in half making an absolute mess in your breach. I have been experimenting with the Clippard MEV-2 QEV a 10-32 90-degree coupler and an SMC ASN series speed controller with silencer (ASN2 U10/32). With this combo you have a lockable control right on the flow restrictor which allows you to dial in the closing pressure which will slow down the ROF but within acceptable parameters to have a fast 100% mechanical Autococker which can keep up with most of the electronic paintball markers you will see on the field any given weekend while still being gentle on paint. In both theory and practice it's essentially the same concept as the Dual LPR G-Force "Gemini" front block and their "4-way" ( really a "6-way" if you count exhausts same as say a Shochtech Bomb, DYE "Rocket" or Inception UFC "3-way" is in actuality a "5-way" in terms of available gas pathing.) spool valve which would connect to the timing rod. The only difference is instead of a pressure differential between both sides of the Ram's piston via two separate sources of low-pressure air being shunted through a 6-way spool valve. You are controlling the vent timing of the forward stroke of the ram, introducing a rearward bias into the system via dwell as opposed to pressure. I feel almost as if I am giving away a "trade secret", but one really can not trademark such a method of flow control to introduce dwell as it is in the public domain. The only way said similar system was patented was with the aforementioned Gemini front block and that's due to the very specific design. Said design being sadly LONG out of production but like pneumatic assisted trigger frames and the MQ/MQ2 valve are TIGHTLY guarded patents which cannot be manufactured for the purpose of sale WHATSOEVER...And the patent holders have ZERO desire to manufacture even though in today's market they most definitely would see a return on investment. I like many others are awaiting these patents to run out on Said Gemini front block and other designs so that we can manufacture and sell our own variants. But we've still got quite a few years until that happens... *IF* it happens at all, as patent renewal is definitely a real thing.

The inception designs valve and madmann rocket valve are both quite nice for the $50. The inception is very similar to the aka in design. You can also get shocktech and ans valves on ebay for $25 and they work pretty well too.

ccm and inception ivgs are broached for allen keys such that you dont need to remove the cocking rod

@@LordHyren I know, I have CCM ones on my cockers. Just that they are hardly standard IVGs if you e.g. buy a cocker internals set.

He will probably keep as meteor is now out of business, selling now is dumb, it can only appreciate now especially with mech play coming up.

The input from the LPR is always the center barb, but there two fundamental designs (2 oring and 3 oring) that flow opposite each other. Also hinge frames and slide frames activate the 3way opposite each other (sliders pull, hinges push), so mixing and matching changes routing of the hoses to the ram.

There are 2 hoses used. 1/16 ID and 3/32 ID. Most newer stuff used 3/32 because it flowed better.

Alex Redmond you’ll be looking into the inception designs guns for ease of tuning. Anything that’s not pre-98 will be reliable but they can be made to be just as reliable.

WGP Trilogy. No timing necessary due to the fixed actuating rod. All you ever need to do is put air to it and go. They actually shoot surprisingly well, and can be had dirt cheap. Nothing even compares in the world of autocockers for being as beginner friendly as possible
