This is part 5 of the ultimate back seat series for the Tacoma. In this part of the series, we finish up the wood working and figure out how to use the existing latching mechanism with this idea. We also do the final finishing work by installing the automotive carpet. I have to say, doing the rear bench seat conversion definitely is the best way to make use of the rear seats for storage and for my on board air compressor system. Let me know what you guys think about this build and if you have any suggestions for future mini improvements to this idea, let me know as well!

I build a lot of DJ cases, (i'm a Dj since 95 ) my suggestion was instead of gluing the piece of carpet, it would have been better if you painted the whole back side with black paint, staple a velcro the length of each backseat to lock down it down..
