Thanks... Still enjoy them to this day but the proprietary charger doesn't want to hold them and charge them. I have to lay something on top of the headphones to make them charge now... FYI if you get a pair. You may see it in a year or so... But they work awesome for sound protection as I work every day...

Melrose Design I absolutely agree! These do a great job in the shop. I push them in a little tighter for the lawn mower with it's vibration.... But can't argue with a ear plug quality in a Bluetooth headset. I usually come in before the battery dies. And they are extremely comfortable. 👊🏻😉 Good luck in your ear protection hunt. I know 3m makes bluetooth headphones but that may get a little sweaty this time of year. 👊🏻

I've had these over a year and had to replace the foam tips about three times. I use the memory day out in the shop as I listen to podcasts and use them as ear protection. The battery life has dropped just a little bit from 8 hours. And it's more probably like 6 hours. The proprietary charger has gotten a little finicky at clicking back on and charging the headphones. I kind of have to jam it down. I have not tried the apple airpods with noise cancellation. I like things that have a phone tip they seem to feel better in my ear. But any good noise cancellation should do great. I know isotunes is another good one.

Wayn Jul In my testing the order was ear plugs, the X3's, then ear muffs. The ear plugs with the most amount of sound heard (least effective). All 3 work perfect as ear protection but the sound leaked a little more on ear plugs. As far as doubling up on plugs and ear muffs. I have done them both but never together when running a chain saw. In my test the X3's remove the high pitch whine from a router, saw, chainsaw, or loud mower. Again they sound above a ear plug and right below a ear muff. And you can listen to music. I know 3m makes a Bluetooth ear muffs but that sounds crazy hot come August! 👊🏻😉

The wife makes all the toy money. 👊🏻😉 Yes the Making Time Podcast sounds delicious like a warm apple pie in the fall when I listen to it on these fashionable ear corks on a string.. There is a bearded guy on that podcast that looks like Nick Offerman but sounds a lot like you. Meh.. fluke. And yes... The call quality on this one I feel might be hit or miss... Most people tell me they hear me great, I always ask because I know the microphone behind the head doesn't always work well. I was told the other day I sounded a little distant on the phone so I took it off headphones and finished the conversation. But I just finished a call with them in the backyard 2 minutes ago with out a single complaint. I talk a little louder so the mic can pick me up.. But 100% advise for ear protection and the customization app is really pretty cool for changing the sound and they can bring some decent bass for an ear bud.

Thanks for the thorough feedback. I have a few different headsets and can usually spend 15 minutes looking for one. lol So picking up another set is always an option. I'll have to see if my wife has any loose change. lol
