Love the X3! got 3 for the family december 2018; after six months one of them failed to deliver sound from left earbud so emailed support and they stand the warranty even when I was overseas! This company is just great!

I've got the earbuds for around 4 months now. Not a single problem, except for a few here and there but no big ones. I experience the same excact things as you with the ear-fins and the my sound app. Great Earbuds for the price, would buy again!

im still using the original jaybird bluebuds and they work perfectly. i wish they had more bass tho.

Have you tried the Airpods? I am debating between the two, but leaning more on Jaybirds just for sound. I recently got a replacement unit for my X3 and I am testing them alongside airpods. The connectivity is miles better on airpods but I love the tunable sound

Price aside, how well does a pair of IEM (ie KZ ZS10) go up against the Jaybird x3? I am looking to get myself some audio for the gym but my friend just told me about IEMs, and according to reviews they do give out better bass... I really dont know (just did an hour of look around) so if you can help me out, it is much appreciated man

I have a question about the jaybird app. Does changing the sound pre set through the app override the pre set I already make through the music app?

I literally just bought these earphones couple of hours ago. I was actually more into the Beats X but for some reason it wasn't pairing with my Samsung phone so I chose these instead. I had a hard time choosing the best ear tips and fins and after a couple tests I found a pair that was ok enough. The quality out of the box is bland but it all comes to life after fiddling with the Mysound app. The sound isn't perfect but that's just because of Samsung's terrible DAC. There are some tiny issues, though. Like the connection hiccups for a milisecond every couple minutes (not sure if it's the earphones itself) and there is a little bit of delay with the controls. Overall I think my money was well spent. Gonna have to look for long-term reliablity.

Did you have any connection problems? My depending from the controller position the connection starts to flickering

Got my jaybird x3 last montht. It is really very nice ambient sound isolation and music. Down side is mine does not charge anymore. Tried buying the $15 replacement charger but no luck. Take note it was only used 2weeks only... now dont know what to do with my jaybird x3. I think there is some charging issues with the X3

How can you manage to get the battery widget to shows all 3 devices battery. Mine(x3) doesn't show the battery on the widget screen when the apple watch is connected to my iPhoneX, It only shows iPhone and Apple watch battery but it will shows the x3's battery when disconnect the apple watch

I’’ve had the X3s for a week now, loving it! However I noticed that the battery life has been quick to drain. I have not been getting the claimed 8 hours playtime. I’ve been getting at least 4 hours. I mostly use it when commuting to work, at least an hour travel time, and battery life seems to decrease by 20% for every one hour of use at 70% volume. Should I bring this back to the store to have it replaced?

Bought some less than 3 weeks ago, they sound great, but the battery runs out pretty fast. Now after using them for only 4 or 5 workouts, they won't charge! Even though I use the 1amp recommended charging block :'( gonna try to exchange them today

What tips do you use?

Sound quality is very good. I've had mine for 18 months. Connectivity is not the best in my experience with my phone. When I have the phone in my hand is ok, as soon as I move the phone or put it in my pocket, connectivity starts failing. When I finally get my phone in my pocket I can't even move or tilt my head because sounds starts cutting off. It is annoying. And the foam eartips are very bad, the replacement cost $20 bucks for 3 pairs.

if you are cycling, do you hear a lot of wind?

It works great until the band. I’ve been using it as my daily workout. But now the band start cutting of itself. I have to use tape to cover some place over the band. Really regret choosing it over Beat X and AirPod 😩😩😩

I feel like my battery has gone down a lot! They died yesterday during a long run 2.5 hrs in. I charged them overnight.

My X3s have very bad bluetooth connection, cant even have the phone in my pocket without sound cutting of constantly. The battery life is very bad aswell, the earbuds wont last more than max 4 hours of playing music, and it drains battery even when turned off. I liked my X2s better. When it comes to sound though, the x3s defenitely beat the x2s.

I have had mine for almost 2 years and wear them 6 days a week as a landscaper in Florida so they have been rained on while wearing and i sweat like a whore in church and have had no problems other than charging is a little challenging very rarely though. All in all a great purchase, sound is awesome and i would never buy anything else. I wouldnt even consider buying another brand. They are awesome.

Wow - you got a pair to last a full year and they still work???!!! You are very lucky. My first pair broke down after 6 months (I suspect due to sweat) was warranty replaced without too much fuss and then that pair just failed after 10 months (I suspect for the same reason). Of course, they will only honour the initial warranty period (1-year; not a lifetime, although I think 1 year is way beyond the life expectancy for this junk) and so now aren't interested (that their sweat proof product costing $200AUD isn't expected to last for more than 12 months. They're great while they work but if someone told you it would cost $200 per year to own decent bluetooth headphones you'd tell them they were crazy. Seems that Jaybird is shit! And yeah, nice video.

In less than 6 months, my JayBird X2 foam earbuds started tearing and the remote control buttons got stuck. Not buying JayBird buds anymore.

Shame the outdoor testing of the X3 was flawed. They're crap. Type 'Jaybird x3 connectivity issues' into Google before you buy these.

Great earbuds but!!!!... the ear tips get worn and fall off the buds, then you need to buy ear tips again and again... when you pull the buds out of the ear the tips stay in the ear and you start to loose the tips! Bought 3 pairs of new tips bow gave up on them ... if you look at the design to hold the tip its actually designed really stupidly, no hook or so, do tips can just slide off... actually wouldnt buy them again for this reason!

Dont buy these. I tried to file warranty claim , since mine died after minimal use , after 7 months. And the page for warranty suddenly disappears. Tried live chat with support and nothing. Buy something else.

Have to disagree. First pair I bought had Bluetooth connectivity issues straight out of the box so returned and got a new pair. Second pair lasted one year at which point the left earbud died randomly. Will not purchase from this company again. These earbuds will last you 1-2 years max.

You lost all the creditability by saying that the sound quality is incredible... You are basically praising the apple earbuds and the EQ doesn't change anything because you can use EQ with all the earbuds if you know what you are doing.

No word on how good is the audio sync with youtube in android and ios. I really dont understand x3 reviewers... how can you not mention it? Its beyond me. Like, at least half of the population in the world who uses headphones use mobile youtube extensively...

How much did you get paid for this? Cos Jaybird sucks. Their customer service as awful, their products break after just weeks of light use. Their lifetime warranty is false advertising and visually the paint has come off so now they look like I got them from Lidl for 10 quid, although those would probably still work! Pathetic and lame. Their battery life is nowhere near the advertised 8 hours, but 3 hours. Never buying Jaybirds again. Never been this disappointed with a product before and they are not the cheapest headphones out there.

Don't buy these POS earbuds. They won't pair with your devise after 3 months. Huge issue. Look it up.
