I don't know when the format of your channel changed to this mostly outdoor setting, but wow. I am captivated! The silence, the presence, the sensory stimulation of the breeze, birds, fire, the cast iron, the knife against the wooden chopping board. Delicious in all ways!

I’ve never been near a farm or the countryside long enough to hear the sounds emanating from them….I was surprised at how vocal the locals are! The rolling hills are so pretty. How incredible to be outdoors filming the cooking of a warm and hearty meal. Beautifully done, Gaz and Tom.

Oh you know it’s good, especially at the end when you tried it with the naan and had the sounds and head movement to go with it. I know those movements and sounds and that means it was delicious 😊. I love the environment too, it’s just so serene not chaotic at all, really peaceful. Also you can save all your wood ash and use it to make lye for soap bars. With your pumpkin seeds you can also save those and toast them to make pepitas.

I love this concept! A little bit of talking would also still be fine for me, but the tranquility from the nature sounds is just pure bliss 🫶🏻

I can't believe you actually got me to google "welsh liquid ice" lol... had a good giggle when I realized. I thought I was gonna miss the talking but this was a nice change, I have trouble focusing on cooking videos usually and this made it much easier. It also made me excited to one day have a place on the countryside and cook beautiful food like this on an open fire with homegrown ingredients. Thanks for this soothing video to end my night

Gaz, you can make a dry pumpkin curry with the rest of it: use oil, garlic ginger onions red/green hot Chilis, yellow and black mustard seeds, curry leaves,salt pepper. Serve with roti or naan, so good!
