Anyone else notice how the Swordsman class looks suspiciously like Howl from Howls Moving Castle, you know the Studio Ghibli film/movie with music from Joe Hisaishi the same Joe Hisaishi who did the music for Ni No Kuni the movie, wrath of the white witch, one more Ni No Kuni game(I think), and now this one.
this is exactly the kind of video i’ve been hoping to see, thank you!! i definitely think i’m going rogue, i really vibe with sub-dps/support characters. i can’t wait to play this!!
I will be releasing a series of "Prepare for Global Launch" RU-vid videos - with tips, must know information and mistakes to avoid to help you prepare! Stay tuned! This video is dedicated to Coupon Code Bob!
I’m still wondering about choosing a witch or engineer. Healing is always an important factor for me to not panic but the witch look sooo good Thansk for the vid
@@SnowMichael Far distance weapon like guns are helpful for healer I think but I do expect magic more for a healer This game has gacha so maybe we can change characters later on
Great vid man. It really helps to see the skill description for every class to help decide which class to main. Still on the fence between Witch or Engineer.
Hoooly crap I didnt even realize you had translated every single skill info until halfway thru the video, thats how flawless your editing/design was!! Ty for taking the time and effort to make this, SUPER helpful!
Thanks for this. Wasn’t sure what class I wanted to play, but now I know imma pick engineer for sure. I used to play Techter when PSO2 was a thing, love being a DPS with support 🙏🙏
Idk but every mmorpg or rpg game I’ve played I will always go for swordsman class. And most of the time i will choose katana as my main weapon but Ni No Kuni doesn’t have the option for weapon which doesn’t really bother me
I always main mage class in games.. but it seems the witch here seems too basic.. the one catching my attention is the engineer.. so i might end up being one.
I was an Engineer at first, but the moment I reached Evermore I simply changed my mind. It was like a Sea of Engineers as far as the eye can see. And sadly I'm one of those people that prefer playing least popular classes because seeing how far you can take them and out playing more popular classes is fun. In short I ended up with Destroyer.
not sure whats up with me and the "engineer" class in games, but i always tend to main them and it looks like this game will be no different, looking forward to global release and thank you for this amazing intro guide to the classes in the game
@@jasonyntig717 im a lolicon myself but I don't play female characters in games if i have the choice, i just genuinely love the engineer class in video games ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Thanks so much!!! This definitely changed my mind as to what class I was leaning towards. Aesthetically I really liked the Witch the best, since she was a tall lady, but now that I've seen the video definitely won't be picking that one. I've never liked to play selfish kits, so I'll probably go either Swordsman, Rogue, or Engineer instead. I'm leaning towards Engineer since I ranged makes it easier to kite enemies if you get in over your head and it's still the feminine character I wanted to play, just shorter but Rogue seemed really fun too.
I'm going swordsmen or destroyer the healing and debuff of swordsmen is sounds really fun but I'd love having my character to have badass looking armor on as well xD
@@luigimario2348 it'll depend on how important crowd control is in this game, if the majority of enemies are too agile for destroyer it will be ... annoying to say the least
Still super salty about the gender locked classes, thought we would have moved past that by now but wow this game looks AMAZING definitely playing day one.
In kr server for a year. You can raise a character for each class. Start with Witch or Rogue. Best for pve and auto farming/hunting. There's a leveling boost if you already have a character. Use that for other classes to lvl up faster
Rogue: Support (Buff), DPS, Movement mech Destroyer: Tank Witch: Pure DPS Engineer: Support (Heal), DPS (Top DPS in some servers) Swordsman: Hybrid/All around
Some of the class are somewhat similar to dragon nest's character class.... this is very interesting.... and also, there could be additional classes in the future... still debating on which class i will choose for this game. Comes down to engineer and rogue
On fence between Rogue (because he so cute) and Engineer because she cute and I love being a healer! I glad we can try all of them! And then decide which one for sure later on!
Thx for the info! I would usually pick a class that would heal but I’m gonna dedicate myself for the rogue. Although healing in that class is basically nonexistent I’m all for being a support
question - does anyone know distribution of classes in non-global? going healer/engineer in games usually can get you into a lot of dungeon groups bc a healer is super useful, but not sure if a ton of people will already be playing that class. thanks!
Can't decide if I want to be the tank or the engineer... I'm leaning toward the engineer though. I love being a healer, and this healer is super cool! Actually... I just decided as I'm typing things lol I'm gonna be an engineer!!
I would say around lvl 25 is when you need to dedicate yourself to a class not "pick one and stick to it because you aint gonna have enough stuff for em all". You are given loads of stuff to use for weapons, armor, familiars, etc to fully test out each class and see what you like sure to really see a growth you need to dedicate your supplies to one unit most likely but that shouldnt stop you from wanting to build up your other classes you enjoy playing almost if not just as much as your main class just because your short on resources. All it takes is management and game knowledge for getting the things you need efficiently without spending money since the only time you really need to spend money is for a specific skill thats locked pehind a pay wall or the gacha system for fantastic loot. Otherwise you can grind things out pretty easily since kost of the beginning can be automatically done with little imput from the player directly (besides dialog which is ngl annoying)
I’m engineer just because little girl with rifle gud. Nice to know they can also heal cuz i like being the coop healer :) makes me feel powerful like “your life is in my hand”
For me mages that uses staff is very common and meh. That's why in Cabal, I use the Force Blader. Here, finally a mage type that doesn't use staff or books. Definitely gonna play Witch.
Ultimate guide indeed. Thank you so much. I now know I'll be choosing the destroyer. Question: I heard you can play more than one class in one account and share items between them. Is that true?
I really hope they do add a "cancel" feature. having be able to bluff will change the game style for sure... they can easily do this by (gesture) "clicking the skill then drag to the right before releasing" they can put a CD on it so you can't keep on bluffing the whole time.
