Was it that much better? I’ve sent my hydraulic monitors back too because of the problem with the distance to the wall … was it much better with those Monitor arms?
@@redouanmo4518 for me there's a bit of a gap, but I have two separate panels (one curved and one flat) otherwise you can stick them together if you have the same panel
Those monitors are definitely not OLED, they are IPS. I was so confused for a sec. Still a great monitor, regardless. Please change your description if you get the chance. Other than that, thanks so much for your review. Your setup looks so good! I'll be grabbing this mount for sure.
Thank you so much for the review! I was looking at it for awhile on Amazon then looked it up on RU-vid and found your review. Your review talked about everything I was wondering, so thank you so much.
Dude I'm def getting this mount, I myself don't move my monitors at all and every other video I've watched are for either those huge bulky hydraulic mounts or super cheapy ones. I really do think you found the perfect one and for a great price, Thank you for this review. PS I'm getting the white version for only $10 more to match my white gaming rig .gonna be cleeean af.
I’m so happy that i saw this video because I needed to know if this stand can make my two different monitors that have the vesa mount at a different place even
The monitor arm is very convenient. I also use dual monitor arms. The top of the desk is very clean. The video was very interesting! With love from Japan :)
Thanks for the video I had one of the bigger arm versions but always had to make weird setup decisions so I wasn't hitting my wall with it. This looks like it should hold my monitors in place while having a limited footprint. I just want to get more space and not worry about moving around my monitors all day.
That bezzle in the middle would make me bat shit crazy. A dual monitor setup is great if you have one screen in the middle, and the other screen is like put in a corner position. Just look up on youtube ideal positions of dual monitor setups
Just a random compliment here, but damn your video quality here is insanely good! Having said that, I'm also considering this monitor arm as I'm looking for something that's as stable and clean as possible.
I just bought the same one and I absolutely hate it! Sorry to say but I was excited about these and the monitors are slanting forward about 4 inches and I tightened the bolt as much as I could with a drill and still didn’t budge!
Your attention o detail is SICK! I more then love it. Things have to make sense, and be 100% symmetrical, or else. One thing I will never understand is the accent lighting. But, to each their own.
I use little big mouse for my monitors. They're both 27" but one is 1080 and the other is 1440p. Windows saw the monitor by what resolution its running and now what physical dimension. This caused a problem because my mouse would get caught in the corner of my 1440p monitor when running my mouse across the screen. Little big mouse fixed that and I'm able to specifcally adjust the size of the monitors and have them properly placed next to each other on the program. I can also adjust the mouse itself so it doesn't get caught on the corners. Also that dual monitor stand is great.
thank you finaly someone diskussing the space it will take up (from wall to front of screen) - one thing i would like to know is what if you only have 22" will it then need to eat more space to keep them together
china special from 15$ hahaha thanks for the video.. i was eyeing this on amazon for awhile and watched another video about ergear gas powered one.. but you bring up a good point. minimalistic look and even better at a great price.. will be buying this!
This setup looks really good now! My wife took a look and said, "Yours needs to be clean like that!" 😂 I don't think she's going to make me install shiplap though... I'm leaning toward the Range arms that Uplift sells -- I want to be able to move the monitors and/or laptops around a lot. It's only money...
I have a nearly identical version of this in my setup, except I got the "standing desk" version. It just comes with an extra pole extension that can be removed, which is currently sitting in my closet. I did find the adjustments were difficult with this stand being that it involves a lot of loosening and tightening with allenkeys, but like you said once you get it set, its not moving because you bump the desk. The wire management is also great as i have a home and a work PC running to each monitor so i can us both displays for either machine. Its a lot of cables to hide but this manages to do it.
Great video! Can you show a video of you putting on the clamp and screwing it into the table? If not, could you forward me to a similar video? Also what kind of drill would I need?
I was watching your video in the living room and my wife walked by and saw the Christmas tree. Guess what I'll be doing this weekend? Christmas tree shopping 😂
It is a monitor stand I'm looking for. I use dual 4k monitors and a Cintiq 22HD and trying to find something that suitable. I'm video editor, graphic designer/artist, streamer and artist.
setup looks great and everything , cool video , but there is one thing i want to point out , imo it's not optimized bc when ur playing/working you're sitting right in the middle of ur monitors idk if it makes sense. except that gj dude
I typically sit slightly to one side or the other and use the secondary monitor as a reference. For editing...it is the output monitor. Web browsing...youtube video playing in the background or email. It is great for that.
I have two 28" 17.42 Ib Odyssey g7, will it be able to hold this monitor or should I look for a different one? My setup is flush against the wall so I don't want large arms that need room to move. Would much rather have one vertical pole to hold both my monitors
@@robb.sutton gotcha! Thanks for the response. I just bought a new custom desk. I was going back and forth. I went from 30” to 24” and then back to 30” before they shipped it lol. I think 30” is best.
Hey Robb, Great setup, loved the wooden background. I am planning to build something similar, can you please help me with the height of the monitor and the gap you have between monitors and the table..
looking at these mounts as I dont move the height I set it and leave it I would use the swivel on the second monitor though does that function good? also do you still use them 2 years later did they hold up?
Hi Rob, great review - I just ordered this mount because of it. How did you wire everything together to work and look so seamlessly? Sorry I’m not a big computer guy but need to do this same set up in my home office. Thanks in advance.
Nice review! Do you know the dimensions of the oval support plate that's under the desk? I was wondering if the 3-inch diameter hole in my desk was too big to put the mount on.
This Vivo dual monitor mount is almost the same price as the single Vivo monitor mount on amazon. I’ll probably but it, anybody know if I could hide the other monitor mount thingy behind my monitor. My second monitor won’t be arriving soon
Can you leave one of the monitor arms off until adding a 2nd monitor at a later date? I only have one 27" monitor currently and knowing me I'll prob add a 2nd sometime down the road. Would be nice if I could buy this mount and future proof myself in case I end up adding a 2nd monitor down the road.
When I try to put both of my monitors of to the stand they look in even, although they are the same size, I tried to readjust and move things around and still not the desired look, can you make a quick video or explain action please?
When it says that it has 360 degree rotation, what exactly does that refer to? I ask because I’m a college student and the way my set up usually goes is that I have my desk at the foot of my bed which means that I need to turn the monitor around to face the opposite direction so that my roommate and I can watch Netflix or whatever from our beds and kick back. Will this monitor stand be able to bend its arm the opposite way that it would typically be set up for, or do the arms not bend in that way? If anyone could let me know I would appreciate it greatly
You can rotate the monitors 360 degrees if you have clearance for them based on size and how high you mount them. They would bend backwards if you needed them to.
Cable management always takes longer cords. My desk is 6' and my case is on the floor on the opposite side; 12' cables are 8" to short! 15' cables on the way.
