@@JagistreviewsNot until the price drops significantly. $379.99 is just entirely too much money for that speaker. Battery wise, it’s an improvement over the EXTREME 3 getting 70 watts as opposed to 50 or 60 watts. If I do get it, it won’t be for outdoor use. I’ll much prefer getting the 100 watts in A/C mode. Most speakers that are the same size aren’t as powerful. That & the fact that I can get a better performing speaker for outdoor use at a much lower price. Right now the Boom2 is marked down to $99.99 on Amazon. It’s normally retailed at $129.99. For the money & size factor, it performs really well. I’ve been looking for a smaller to medium sized outdoor option. I have the X20 which I love, but I don’t want to tote around nearly 17lbs every time that I want to go outside & listen to music. I own the JBL CHARGE 5, EXTREME 3, BB3, 2 Bogasing G4S, & the X20. Out of all these speakers, the X20 is the only TRUE outdoor speaker that I own, unfortunately.😊

@@Jagistreviews I typed BB2. I meant to type BB3. Although I have to admit, I really would like to get my hands on the BB2. I’ve heard lots of people comment that they prefer the sound over the BB3.

Agreed, I've not used either one outdoors yet so I'm not sure what's better out there

@@Jagistreviews I’ve tried the EXTREME 3 with the battery outside & it just left me wanting more. A lot of people don’t realize that in battery mode, you’re getting 50-60 watts. The power is distributed equally between the drivers & the tweeters. In A/C mode, you’re getting 100 watts. That’s 121//2 to 15 watts more per tweeter & driver. That’s why a lot of people don’t believe it’s 100 watts, because it doesn’t sound like 100 watts, if that makes sense.

I agree with you they both have good bass but the ue sounds a bit clearer, I'm going to do an outdoor test on them soon and see

The onyx studio 6 sounds way better in bass than either of these, way more bass and way deeper, the epicboom is pretty much the dame bass as the extreme 3
