As far as we are concerned the current generation bikes come with SS headers. Regardless of the fact, even if it is Ti the benefits are very little since the factory Ti header even it is lighter than the SS one, it is still pretty heavy compared to an aftermarket Ti header. But also the power profile is much different as well from an aftermarket header.
How does a Sc Project CRT Exhaust with stock titanium headers (R1M 2016) compare to a full exhaust system with after market headers? Is there really any noticeable power gains in an aftermarket titanium headers vs stock titanium headers?
I am about to purchase my R1M, and I am curious what do I need to flash it or tune it with a Stage 1. Since it’s such a new bike, I am not sure my closest motorcycle mechanic will have the gadget that’s is needed for tunning it. Can you guide me on this topic? I am planning to purchase mid pipe and SC project for it.
There's one thing about Mani and his company that IMO makes him better than his competition! He will not promote or sell anything to you that he want run on his own bike! Oh yea, you can't call up Revzilla and ask them for help on anything they sell you that you might need to ask A question about! The sales reps just DONT KNOW💩!
Thank you guys, I am happy to see people like you take notes on our specialty and our teams ability to give you specific answers and share our knowledge regarding these beautiful machines!
Very cool video Mani @motomillion. Is there a different power rating between the regular GP Titanium exhaust vs the World SBK spec exhaust for Yamaha? What video editing software do you use for highlighting the slip on?
Yes, the WSBK exhaust has different sized piping, and eliminates O2 sensors. Check out our install video for the details! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_cjlCFsjhLI.htmlsi=P9sR_2r-zMQZko9z We use Adobe Premiere Pro for everything. For that effect, it's just some masking and then keyframes!
Can always take apart servo controller under seat and completely remove cables works too aside from servo buddy and tune… great content always “Mani”💪💪💪
hi, congratulations for the video and your r1, is the exhaust you are fitting a factory model? Right? I also bought a factory one, but it doesn't have the connection for the probes, right? only one on the single tube near the terminal! does it sound like that to you too? thanks in advance for the reply
Def get a tune if u do your exhaust the bike already runs super lean from factory its gonna be worse when u swap exhausts.. why u think yall get flames super easy??
Hi everyone, currently I’m running a decatted stock exhaust set up on a 2022 R1. Is it true there are catalytic converters on the stock headers? If so will it be ok if I decat them like my catalytic converter box (mid pipe) with stock air filter and no flash?
@@Motomillion Do you now why the R1 from 2020 - 2023 not have titanium headers ? Here in Europe both the R1M and R1 from 2015 to 2019 have titanium headers. Just asked a friend who ride a 2021 R1 about his bike and titanium headers. His is steel header and he also dont now why 🤔🤨🤔 Thanks for you great video’s on RU-vid. Watch them all 😎🛵😎
We already have it done and on youtube. Ultimate Exhaust Guide for the BMW S1000RR & M1000RR! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6qQGW36H-i8.html
2020 and newer did not get the titanium headers anymore. If you look up the part numbers, 2015-2019 is the titanium part number, 2020-2023 R1's are stainless steel part numbers.
