Absolutely useful!! Thank you. So from your experience, which slip on gets you more HP? It’s probably subjective, but I also seen various folks use different ones. I saw 650ib’s Arrow got him more power than the Akro, but a lot of the MotoAmerica or WSBK use Akro. Your take on which one by priority maximize its potential for HP. Thx
I've said and commented it a million times since watching the R1M get shipped at this man's house, this is one of the best motorcycle channels in RU-vid right now, very informative, entertaining, and helpful as well. Arrow and BMW is just crazy together.
I'm not anywhere near owning a bike due to budget issues but I never miss your videos for future knowledge. Your articulation, honesty and unbiased information is very helpful to your viewers. Stay blessed and may God keep you safe and in good shape.
Dang! it’s hard to find this kind of good in depth information without a lot of Research and you had it all in one video! That’s awesome! you killed it! Thanks!👊🏻
@@Motomillion I am over in Ireland. I’ve brentuning kits for both and full systems on both. Excited to see what they will do on a Dyno. I might even get a stage 2 from Chris at brentuning for the m1000rr. Thanks again for all the class videos.
This was one on the most informative videos about this bike on the internet. It answered a lot if not all of my questions about the exhaust. Very good work. Just waiting on the SC Projects GP70R full exhaust to be back in stock so i can purchase.
I can say from personal experience that the material and craftsmanship of Arrow compared to Akrapovic are virtually equal with each other! Akrapovic might have a little higher price than Arrow but the materials used and master welders building these exhaust can virtually switch jobs and you couldn't tell who built what exhaust from each company unless they told you! The only differences I've seen out of eight bikes were the two shorty exhaust (one Akra gp and Arrow low shorty) made 1 to 2 hp less at peak power compared to the Akra Evo and Arrow Competition Evo! What I'm getting at is they are so dagum close that you need to solely pick which one you think looks the best to you because both are equal when it comes to performance and craftsmanship!
Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, an aftermarket product added to your vehicle can not automatically void your warranty. The onus is on the manufacturer to prove without a reasonable doubt that the aftermarket item you installed on your vehicle directly caused the malfunction which you are trying to warranty.
Unless you are brand new to bikes and modding, I would hope you would have heard of Arrow. In the past Moto GP teams and WSBK teams have used Arrow as well. Arrow Italian made, Akra made in Slovenia
There is way better options other than the main competitors (as mentioned). Black widow exhaust makes a great exhaust for the S1000rr for almost 75% less than what the main 2 offer. Do some more research fam and weigh your options
Guys, Salvation is Simple HalleluYAH translates “Praise ye YaH” YaH is The Heavenly Father YaH arrives via the TENT OF MEETING YaH was Who they Crucified for our sins YaH was Crucified on an Almond TREE - Ancient Semitic Cuneiform of Moshe (Moses) - Isa Scroll (The Original Isaiah) Isaiah 42:8 "I am YaH; that is my Name! I will not yield my glory to another or my praise to idols.” Isaiah 43:11 “I am YAH, and there is no other Savior but Me.” Isaiah 45:5 “I am YaH, and there is none else.”
For those that want sweeeeeeet sound but not obnoxious…… go with the SC Project SC1-R. It’s quieter than the shorty/GP and Manny should be able to hook it up.
Titanium heats up faster and cool down faster, in the competition sense titanum is the best way to go, also arrow, makes pusative exaust systems which are techincally better than akrapovic, if you also work on your airbox, the real diference will come on the road with the ram air, arrow will do a lot better on street
I prefer short (but it made my ears hurt on this platform) so had to go long. Long actually gives more top end power, as it has more "pull", but it will weigh more and at this power level it's all about the sound really...
Hey @Motomillion, awsome video! Just a quick question about the ecu flash, do we Europeans will benefit the same from it as our USA/Canadian friends? I've seen a lot of info saying that EU BMW's are less limited hence not so big advantage of getting the ecu flashed?
Great stuff. Question tho, what's your take on AR? It's my current favorite, I'd like to know what you think of it since I look up to you for bike parts standards 😅 Also curious why you don't carry the brand
As mentioned on the video, we curate what we sell. We like to see proven track record when it comes to performance. There is a reason why MotoGP field only uses the expertise of a few companies.
Hi Mani. Apologies for going off topic but will my R1 2018 need a servo buddy if I just disconnect the cables but leave the servo motor connected up still?
Yes it will. Here is the link for the SC1-R that works: www.motomillion.com/collections/bmw-s1000rr-23/products/sc-project-sc1-r-titanium-slip-on-for-bmw-s1000rr-m1000rr
It would be okay without it, but it would be pretty quiet since the exhaust flap is closed most of the times. I would recommend the Brentuning Stage 1 flash to go along with it to get the most out of the exhaust and to get rid of your restrictions. www.motomillion.com/collections/bmw-s1000rr-23/products/brentuning-s1000rr-stage-1-flash-with-handheld-tuner-2023-s1000rr
My local bmw has a preowned 23 s1krr with a stage 1 been tune on it and I noticed the flapper was deleted. Looks like someone just took a grinder to it. Could this mean maybe the previous owner maybe did a stage 2?
That was super helpful. Appreciate it. I have one question. As per your experience does the K67 S1000RR bog down when the intake temp goes too high?( With heat temp in stock position and Just the stage 1 Brentune Installed) Because brandon keep mentioning it in his video as among the most important mods.
You may notice it if you are racing, but just street riding you would most likely not notice it. But the bike does pull timing as the IAT reads higher, which robs power away.
Personally, i would not run a sprint filter, as the filtration isn't good enough. I run a bmc filter (non-race) as filtration is at oem level, and bmc is an oe part on some platforms, eg e46 csl.
Sprint Filter inherently has better filtration given the fact that they are polymer filters, and not sponge / paper. If you understand the construction you would not opt for anything else. All the fancy 40k bikes from Ducati come with Sprint Filter installed, and there is quiet a few MotoGP machines running Sprint Filters and WSBK as well.
@Motomillion I have the 23' S1000RR and I am based in London so got the EU model, without swapping the whole exhaust as that will void my warranty if I just swap that akrapvoic slip on as I have the same one since it was an extra package would that increase the noise say if I was going to put the SC project one? or are all the mufflers/silencer crap installed in the exhaust under the engine and won't make a difference to sound?.
Can i shorten the length of the exhaust, will it affect on performance? I hv full titanium akrapovic system with cat, so i want to cut out the cat part and juat join back them pipes, will it affect on engine performance?
It is the fullsix carbon belly pan. You can view it here : www.motomillion.com/products/fullsix-carbon-fiber-racing-belly-pan-fairing-for-bmw-s1000rr-2019-2020?_pos=1&_sid=af3ace65f&_ss=r&variant=31610764165186
Do you have a store in canada ? Or can i order a full system to canada. I live in toronto and just got the 2024 s1krr. I need a full sc project crt system installed. Please help
These bikes come with wide band O2 sensors. Which means the ecu can auto tune it self to any changes in air flow. No external tuning is required. 😉 I'm surprised this guy wasn't knowledgeable about this.
@@Motomillion Of course I know more than you. I said nothing about the throttle map restrictions, which is the only limiting factor on these bikes. I stated that a fuel increase on the fuel map (tune) is not required because the wide band sensors will tune automatically to maintain the target AFR. I'm available to school you any time.
People want to go with brand names that have credibility. Credibility is being technical partners with the biggest teams that are chasing 10ths on track and factory support. Some of these items are the most expensive items you will buy for your bike and you should look for these attributes when choosing it for your own bike(s).
Due to legality this should be titled track only exhaust guide for bikes that are not used on the street or ever will be. All you can do is a slip on as long as it does not make the exhaust too loud. Moto GP exhaust is NOT the same. As a shop you are risking the current EPA enforcers….. there is a crackdown. I’m, your statement about types of metal and power are completely false. Routing is important, how you control the heat to aid in venting is the most critical.
The absolute number 1 issue I have with MOST exhausts is their ugly logos on the muffler. And most of them look stupid. Word of mouth should be enough.
I have definitely changed my opinion about this channel from my initial impression. I assumed because 650ib strikes my as sketchy that MotoMillion was sketchy as well. Manny has 100% proven me wrong. This is as smart and informative motorcycle content channel there is out there. The jury is still out on ib,just sayin 🫤
