First, he ended with a song that claims that Metal can be beaten, biased to say the least. Second, Metal in more often than not needs to guitars of a riff, what about they get the rest of the band as well while metal is cheating like that?

No Pantera is not better than led zeppelin, burn is a better riff than black Sabbath iron Man as well. What's more funner to play metal tone is not as good as rock smooth rich feel.

Both are good in there on ways, I got myself into rock music like: acdc, guns n roses, led zeppelin and many more, then I grew more into metal like: black sabbath, iron maiden, judas priest, megadeth and ect

it's strange, really, because van halen and motley crue feel more metal than dio ever was, but they're both counted as rock. i can get van halen, with them being very much more rock, but motley crue are, most definitely, glam metal, if you consider that metal in the first place

@@sammarvelous5030 Glam metal is pretty wide ranging and is generally variable by the band. Poison and Whitesnake are rock, Skid Row and Motley Crue are metal, Tesla and Scorpions are variable.

@@limitedbom2206 the best countries in the world. The Netherlands and Belgium. And it starts to rub off to the Germans too. Try it, it’s so much better than ketchup! And if you really want to have a party mix satay sauce (hot peanut sauce) mayonaise and some fresh cut onions. We call that “Patatje Oorlog” or “War Fries”. And another combo we call “Patatje Special” which is “Mayonaise with Ginger Tomato sauce and fresh cut onions” hmmmm!

I was in grade school when the ‘70s started. Several of the Hard Rock riffs were from bands that were classed as metal by the genre standards of the ‘70s and real early ‘80. To me it was and is all good, even if a given babd from that era is now consigned to the Hard Rock genre.

Rock has some great riffs that nobody can even touch like Led Zeppelin but metal just so many riffs from black label, Black Sabbath, slayer, System of a Down, and Mattalica so I think metal wins
