Finally after weeks and weeks of troubleshooting I've finished putting together my "IRL (In Real Life) Livestream Setup".
This is a fully stabilised (zhiyun crane 4, near unlimited power kit (power junkie)with a mic input (rode smart lav/rode video micro).
It means I'll be able to solo live stream my photo walks!!

Crazy set up, but very nice solution! I've got a question about live streaming though.. I want to buy a gimbal and I wondered if all the Zhiyun Crane 4 options work when you make a RU-vid livestream through a broadcasting app... Do you have any information on that? :)

What clamp did you use around the Zhiyun to attach to the chest harness for the gopro? I may be going blind but I didn't see it in your parts list

How are you finding the Moment setup on the OP6 outside of this livestreaming monstrosity? I'm always tempted to get the case when I see someone selling the lenses for cheap but not sure if it'd get much use

Hey Cian!😊 Hahaha it really is a monstrosity 😂😂 the case is deadly! Feels real good! I'd recommend it to any one regardless of the mounting system on it. It's just a really nice case 🙌 the lens gets a lot more use than I thought I'd get from it. I always pop it into my pocket with its little lens bag! The 18mm has a real interesting field of view so it looks different to just the normal phone photos. Not sure id pick up the longer focal lengths .. but I do really like this one for video and stills when I don't have my camera with me 😊 I never took phone photos before getting this and now I take loads. Considering it was only bough for livestreaming I'd say that's a good thing 📸😎

Is it possible to hook this up to an application like OBS so that you can use it as one of multiple video inputs for a single live stream?

I use an app called SLOBS (stream labs OBS) should be available on your app store :) Basically just use that and have 4g internet connection and it works perfectly!!

Hi Connor, great video! My boyfriend and I are IRL travel streamers on twitch and we're looking into ways to upgrade our setup. We currently only use an iPhone XS and a Dji Osmo 2 Gimbal. Our stream seams to be working okay, but our main issue is connectivity. Any opinions? Also if you want to check us out on twitch our name is halfwaythere_live !

I'm so sorry it's taken me this long to reply. My YT hides loads of comments I get 🙃 The phone encoding the video and streaming from itself is the bottleneck for connectivity and I'm not surprised it's not rock solid. Mine is normally very good but I only really do it in well-serviced cities. I know there are some others that use separate mobile data dongles to do the streaming side of things or complete separate streaming computer units, you'd lose the simpleness of the phone and gimbal. If you wanted to have the best quality you'd be better off recording and uploading to YT or Twitch as a single video? At least then there's no connectivity and maybe playing it on twitch "as live"? But you probably don't want to do that though 😅 I don't think there's a simple to do solution for you currently though
