In this video, I build a huge plywood storage rack out of plywood. First off is making full sheets of plywood into "MEGA sheets" so that the rack can hold 4'x8' sheet goods. Then, a very heavy assembly with some help from my dad. Its a big build and a fun video, I hope you enjoy! Please let me know what you think in the comments below.

Nice work, I am using a slightly different approach, but seeing your method helped me overcome a couple of mental barriers I had about how to attach things together in some hard to reach areas. Thanks for sharing!

That time you used up all your wood things to build a wood thing for storing all your wood things in?

So why didn't you just work from side to side installing the dividers while it was laying on the floor, installing the other side piece last?

Shame you didn’t have space to lay your sheet material flat on the floor…. 🤣 I’ve never known anyone build a huge box to store plywood upright. Used more wood building it than you have room to store. 🤣

Sorry but total waste of material. Using 1 1/8 at $100+ a sheet not to mention way too heavy. 23/32 cdx is 40 a sheet and lighter and perfectly acceptable and strong enough. Unless of course you had those sheet were left over from sheeting a floor. Good over all plan though

Ah the cheap use of the word "ultimate" that youtubers do to sucker people into watching. My question is, how can it be ultimate when the sheets aren't lying flat like they are supposed to be stored?? Your content is good man, you don't need to try sucker people into watching. Next you'll have your own face looking shocked in the thumbnail like the rest of them. Cheapens the content.

Thanks for input, Dave! I couldn't agree more about the title, though I stand by the rack being "ultimate". Building this was a huge endeavor and in my shop this is the absolute best way to store full sheets. I can access them with ease and pick though until I find what I'm looking for, something not easily achieved when stored flat.

@@nathanielpotter3140 I disagree completely. That is in fact an “ultimate” sheet good storage unit for a one man shop, and the use of the word ‘ultimate’ did absolutely nothing to cheapen the quality of this video’s production. People may dislike some of the methods content creators use to attract viewers to their work, but if it works…..it works. So take these gatekeepers input with a grain of salt. I used to think the same way until one of my favorite creators explained why his channel looked the way it did. When he explained the analytics to increasing viewership, it all made sense. He wasn’t doing it for his regular viewers who already know the quality of his work. It was for the “window shoppers” looking for something to catch their eye. This video did just that. It caught my eye. I clicked. I enjoyed. Now I’m gonna check the rest of the channel out and possibly subscribe if I like what else I see.
