everything here is pretty accurate but i do disagree with shadow not being d tier. lightning (fine in c tier) gives good utility in spark swap with alot of damage boosting talents and mantras (raging and lightning cloak (single test dps boosting mantra in the game)). where as shadow only really have shadow seekers, only good for cheesing and never optimal, and shade devour, a decent mantra but disables spine cutter. if you are judging more based off mono attunement it makes sense

You should have taken into account the weapon options for example the only reason people use shadow is because the hero blade crit is amazing and one of the main reasons people use ice for diluvian is because of Gran Suduruska and it's low stat requirments. Other than that decent vid

I mostly agree with the list and I understand it’s just you opinion, but imo thunder and shadow, while not being the best, are still pretty decent for pve Thundercall: Raging static is a very good dmg boost Lightning cloak is extremely good because it can make your evanspear that already 2 shots threshers have the same swing speed as a medium weapon, making the dps skyrocket Emotion wave deals good damage against things with big hitboxes like widow, crabs, king jellyfish, or ethiron because of the multiple lightning bolts following the initial part of the mantra Grand javelin can save your life if you have grand skewer Shadow: I agree that shadow does not have very many good mantras, but the ones it has are very good for damage Shade devour is a free boost Shadow meteors just lets you passively do much more damage as you m1 Shadow seekers While being a one hit move, eclipse kick deals heavy damage Shadow is very very good with frost draw because of permafrost prison, which is amazing for aoe and deals decent damage passively You can shadow travel away from danger sometimes Dark rift is just free ghost, saving you 15 points to put into something else If you plan to go silentheart, it probably wouldn’t hurt to just not get the oath and go 50 thunder preshrine for the cloak to make your dps way better than if you went silentheart. Also, it opens up the opportunity to get Dawnwaker, which has blinding dawn, one of the best pve mantras currently If you are going frost, you could just get 30 shadow for permafrost prison, which will just increase your crowd control and passively increase your overall damage by a lot. Or maybe just go 60 shadow preshrine so you don’t have to get ghost. I get that 60 sdw is more than 40 agi, but your attunement can drop more than 25 points when you shrine, unlike your base stats I do agree gale and frost are on top, but thunder and shadow imo are worthy of b or a tier

I love flamecharm because I can set enemies on fire instead of gripping them which doesn't alert nearby enemies, comes in handy for certain situations such as crypt of the unbroken for example

I actually really enjoy ironsing for pve, oxidizing rush/metal armament have a very consistent damage output too 🙏

the thing I like about flame is that enemys can burn out making it really good for executing a bunch of enemies at once

Id say ice is slightly better (in terms of dps) But ofc gale has 2 very good movement mantras and wave dashing (ice has glorping or whatever its called but thats dual attunement) in terms of l2 they are both good but for the others i feel like gale is better (especially ferryman)

Before watching this video, i was a thundercaller. I tried to take on duke, putting this video off, only for the golems to kill me easily due to:A, i was using a katana (terrible against golems) and b, lightning damage is actually terrible. Im now a frostdrawer getting ready to kill duke with my goofy heavy build with my comically sized hammer

Honestly I prefer frostdraw, the mobility is fine, but with gale its much harder to 1v1 with those mantras if you get caught out, with gran sudaruska you can melt

I want to argue for flame as I think it should be S tier. Hungry flames is just to good to pass up on. If you didnt know you get a flamecharm talent called hungry flames which allows you to cast spells using your hungry and thirst bar. Combine this with the carnivore talent which gives you thirst and hunger for mobs, you get the best combo in the game. Essentially you dont have to worry about your ether, save points that would have gone into intelligence, and you can put unlimited modfiers on your mantras as it dosent matter in something like dilluvian as your killing so many mobs your hunger and thirst will never run out thanks to carnivore.

Kinda weird to compare elements as a solo pve utilities. I mean, in most of the builds you combine elements (we do NOT talk about silentheart m1/gran suda brickwalls) to gain whatever you wanted Gale+thunder = mobility and nice dmg Flame is cool utility and 40% dmg buff Ice is best mantras Iron is, uh..1 usefull mantra Shadow cast gives you best heroblade crit for mobility and impressive damage output against bosses like duke and ferryman. So yea, pointless vid imo lol
