Definitely keep the HKS and RB28 raw! They will match the titanium strut bar as well as your vcam!

Nice, to answer your question i think it would look great and add that personal touch if you do match the HKS pattern from the valve cover to the cam cover. Keep taking your time this build is coming together very nice 👌🏾.

I recently purchased the splatter plum from them with the intention of having the same purple you have. Turns out they changed suppliers during covid and the colour is nowhere near the same as it was. It's heaps darker. Don't know why they won't update the website. Big disappointment.

Looks sick man! I wish I kept my OEM valve covers for the looks but I went PRP billet on my Nitto 2.8 build. Any plans for baffling? Twin turbo or single? Power goals? I’m loving that V-cam. Super cool build!

They felt like the weighed about the same picking them up by hand. I will have to get my scale out later and check the weight on the channel.

What gearbox setup are you using? I imagine a 2.8 with vcam will munch a stock r32 gearbox

Going to run stock gearbox for now. I will not be turning the boost up all the way at first. Need to make the OEM drivetrain last a few years so I can save and upgrade later.

Depends which direction you want to go with it some people are doing these BMW 8hp auto swaps now with seemingly great success
