Hey pugs! Do you usually build that core plus one tank item of your choice? Sometimes I worry one resistance item isn’t enough after building all that health but idk
I usually build 3/4 core then if I am ahead/even GA. But tank items are also good even when ahead, but I prefer going a damage item still. Ex build when ahead: Triforce, cleaver, steraks, GA, and wits. Ex build if you prefer tank items: Triforce, cleaver, steraks, jaksho, force of nature/randuins/deadmans etc.
i kinda disagree on what u said about the cull boots buy bcs if u get cull to late it delays your first spike which is the biggest bump in power and accelerates the second one which is still good but not as great. I personaly think that the only time that cull would be best back is if u get a early wave 3 (cannon wave) reset with 450g bcs it alligns very well with getting cull finished around the time plates go down which can give u huge boost in gold all at once. The 750 gold is in a weired spot bcs it would most likely be after u get a kill top or less likeley after resetting on 5th/6th wave. If u get a kill in lane its most likely not a good idea to weaken your self to get cull and instead i think it is better to buy stats and try to snowball that lead into plates which give more gold faster to hit 1 item spike sooner and gives you the chance to get on the map faster.
I just started playing after 14.1, why is kaenic not in every characters armor? The sheild it gives is absurd and the hp+regen and makes you feel unkillable against ap
Why do i feel gnar is so much stronger with heartsteel and other tank items rather than buying trinity and black cleaver into sterak’s EDIT: is there a way to combine both and in which situations would that be
Heartsteel can be good into enemy teams that draft full ad/full ap. And I think if you want to, you can build heartsteel into trinity & bruiser items if you want. It is just more challenging to pull off since heartsteel only gives hp and very little damage. I think you have to snowball to use heartsteel effectively and that is difficult since you only build hp. I personally love heartsteel and wish it was meta but trinity/cleaver is just better. I wish there was more variety. But yeah the best situation to use heartsteel is against full ad/ap teams so you can build really tanky for one specific resistance.
Kit, it is a word to describe a champions abilities + passives. For example, Fleet footwork is good for gnars kit because it gives sustain and movement speed. Trinity force is good for gnar kit because it gives the most tempo and synergises the best.
