Excellent job. I wish I had seen it before we went. Not that we missed out on much, because we tried to cram everything we could into it. Very very very much enjoyed it. A couple of the attractions on deck 19 were still not done. However they're still working on them. Very excellent video and explanation.

Ah, you finally got onboard, excellent! The main restaurant looks lovely, nice idea with the formality rules. The ship looks beautiful, the Piazza looks stunning! Really like the look of the cocktail bar, even though not really into cocktails, but the Irish bar looks cool. Great kids areas. The theatre looks very interesting with the changing configurations. As someone who works in theatre, I know how much of a nightmare technically those thrust stages can give. It really is stunning…our old, ‘we only like smaller ships’ attitude has totally gone, we’d love to try this ship. The speciality restaurants look really good. The wake terrace looks incredible. Best pizza a sea, wow, that’s an accolade, I have to admit, we’re not a big fan of the, ‘this area is for suite guests only’…kinda makes me think of the Titanic days of decks by class, it’s almost as if cruising has done a full circle. It’s interesting that so much of the ship is cream in colour, surely that is the best colour to get dirty over time! We’d be the first to spill red wine 🍷. The Lido area look really nice. Fitness studio, nah, don’t need that 😂. It’s huge isn’t it!!! The Sanctuary looks gorgeous but again, not interested in paying that. The Park looks really good fun. Really enjoyed that video, top work!!!!
Hey Both. Thank-you for your detailed response. I think you two would love this ship, I would look out for prices on this one it’s got some great ports, some decent prices. Yes I imagine it’s going to be technically very interesting in that theatre, everyday I popped in and lots of rehearsals going on, the theatre company are around two months behind. Once fully up and running with shows I feel it’s going to be impressive. I agree not sure why certain cruise companies are scared of colour! By the way you have inspired me to go back to our roots on this weeks video and do kind of vlog of whole trip, you get a mention! A poor man’s postcard and point 🤣 cheers 🍻

You will very much enjoy yourselves. I guarantee it. This was our first cruise and we loved every moment of it. I had planned on eating like a pig and drinking like a fish. And did not accomplish either. The food and drink were spectacular though. You'll have a great time.
What do I think of Sun Princess?....I'm lovin' it!!! I don't sail on her until early next year, but in the meantime as I study the ship and watch more of these vids, my enthusiasm and anticipation continue to build! Park 19, Lido deck pool area, and the sea view terrace area seem to be my favorite would be hangouts so far. It's going to be a lot of fun exploring a whole new ship and I appreciate these informative videos, thank you! Quick question though, is the lookout the highest point on the ship one can access?
Hey, thank-you for watching and your kind words. I must say I have been really impressed the whole ship just works and looks great. Park 19 is going to be great it’s all ready to go just needs safety checks, which is annoying. I think time wise Princess will learn lessons for star. Early next year will be perfect time to head on. Bizarrely lookout is highest point but directly behind big screen! I thought at one point it was meant for the back of ship.
She is a very stunning contemporary modern looking ship, however I’m not sure how I feel about that new kids park on deck 19 next to a jogging track. It feels like Princess have tried to design a Ship that will appeal to a wider audience but seem to be slipping away from their Elegant Royal Class ships which I am a big fan of.
Hi Cruise Guru. Thanks for watching and commenting. I had not thought about this and yes I can see your point when park 19 is fully open it does sort of mould into the whole area. I think with ship this size it had have a wider appeal although I think outside of holiday time I don’t think it will have large percentage of kids onboard.
Hi, thanks for watching and commenting. I definitely think it does for that age group. The kids club looked great. My son loved the eatery (buffet) also the pizza/taco stations are great. Elements of park 19 would also appeal to that age group. I thought the whole ship was very child friendly.
We were on her in may and things were still not open. Little on the sad side. Because I wanted to do some of the fun things on board. However, that does not detract from the ship one bit
Hi Liam, thanks for watching. Spoke to the guy in Park 19 yesterday the high ropes are only days away and rest will be staggered, The roller glider will be last think its looking like April for that. Looks amazing though. Hope its open when you cruise
