And don’t forget that you can get 2.5 Himalayans brand new for the price of ONE DX! This together with the lower operating cost also opens up the market of new bikes for many riders who don’t have a strong private economy!

And let's not forget you can get three Himalayan for the price of one Desert X. Probably four by the time you've added a couple of minor options to the Ducati. They're a nice bike to ride but I just wouldn't want to own one for fear of smashing it up. The Himalayan is so sturdy, it's likely to break whatever it falls onto, rather than break itself.

Absolutely. Though I will say the DDX is amazingly sturdy as well based on the abuse I’ve already put it through.

Controversial motorcycle opinions: Passing patched riders is ok There should be a federal motorcycle helmet law and they should be required on all public roads US drivers will never be ready for lane splitting Loud pipes might just be annoying and not save many lives
