It will not give a difference..... The only way it can give a difference is if an app requires 6 GB RAM or more, then the Zenfone will get lower frames per second. But there's no app that requires 6 GB RAM.

More ram doesn't mean faster when it's around 6 gigs, it means u can store more apps in background, actually 6 gigs is pretty slick. Even with 8 GB ram u can't play two big games back to back. And I'm in favor of ASUS if it doesn't include bugs as it did in previous generations. They ruin the user experience.

I think the better speed of the One Plus 6 comes from the type of internal memory it has which is UFS 3.0 (vs 2.1 for the Zenfone 6. It can read and wright data much faster. That's one of the small compromises necessary to get an almost flagship at "only" 500$.

I'll take a physical sensor any day over in screen. Why you ask, the in screen sensor is a camera, as shown on jerryrigeverything I don't want any Cameras on the front of the phone or hidden in the front of the phone. New phones being released in the future with the Camera underneath the screen lol No thanks I want my privacy. Zenfone 6 wins this hands down in my opinion, especially if you factor in price 👍

@@majinvegeta3015 Just saying that if someone really wanted to capture your prints or 3D facial data, they could do so from where where you shop/work and possibly any of your photos on social media. Airports and other places with higher security will capture your prints and mugshot too. And the US government could spy on your phone activities too. So you are only forgoing the convenient security of protecting your phone against the intrusion of the common crook on the street. I feel that the only effective approach against a Big Brother state is to vote for people you believe respect that privacy. If they violate that trust, they have to be held accountable, not let it be brushed under the carpet like what is happening now with the US

Same here. I have been using Zenfone 5Z for over a year. Quite satisfactory with its performance and Zenfone 6 looks damn good, smoking almost every other phone in the similar price with the IPS panel being the only drawback. Lambhi race ka ghoda lag raha hai Z6👏

I just ordered the Zenfone 6 because its price is incredible for what you get but overall if I could have gotten the oneplus 7 pro instead, the 90hrtz and USF 3.1 those features alone are by themselves are worth the small price difference. I've owned the oneplus 7 pro before and its weakness is that it's a little too large to use day in day out. I'm glad I did not have the opportunity to choose as I found a great deal on the Twilight color Zenfone 6 sealed 128g for a little under $499. I think I did pretty good. I'm excited to get mine friday

Excellent comparison - especially taking into account the OP 7 Pro had a larger RAM (8GB for the OP to the 6 GB for the Asus ZF6) and storage was doubled for the OP 7 Pro - not sure if that increases any of the speeds but have heard the increased size of the RAM might. Now the choice is down to deciding between the Asus ZenFone 6 and LG G8. Thank you.

I'm sorry to say but I find the tests are not impressive except for the sound tests. For most of the touch to activate apps test, your right hand is much faster response compared to your left suggesting u are a right handed user and a few times that favored Oneplus more. Switch around the phone and u will see a different results from what u presented here. Rather, u might wanna do a battery durability (both drain & charge) test for approx 1 day usage and see if each can outlast one another or against a few others like what Whosetheboss did. Main thing is this phone is said to sport a 112hr endurance battery test as per GSMareana claimed, to which I'm kinda skeptical if this phone can oust so many other flagship by so much.

Actually they both have the same type of ram LPDDR4x, so the ram has the same speed (reading and writing at the same speed) just not the same amount. So more apps can be opened at the same time with more ram. But they won't open faster. The difference is in the kind of storage memory (ROM). While the ZF6 has UFS 2.1 memory, the OP6 has UFS 3.0 memory which is able to read and write much faster than the previous version (2.1}. I guess that's what explains the difference in opening the games faster on OP6. Does it worth the extra 150$ asked by One Plus? Plus the lack of jack and sd?

Shocked at the difference between your review and the one by Nitpicker. He did say that the Asus was incredible but all of that was let down by the screen which slowed the phone down badly. Your tests didn't include normal use rather just app load times. I wonder if you would find the same as Nitpicker in general use. Otherwise I would agree with your conclusions.

Your multiple speed tests between the ASUS ZENFONE 6 vs ONEPLUS 7 PRO were very close , with a slight edge opening OS in favour of the ASUS ZENFONE 6 Smartphone ! The RU-vid speed test was interesting when you looked at the ONEPLUS 7 PRO screen , the colour from the video on your Chigz Tech Review actually matched your background wall !!!.. ))) The ONEPLUS 7 PRO was tied opening APPS with the ASUS ZENFONE 6 ….. The biggest test of all was how fast can a *"PHONE SLINGER"* open a Game APP and be ready to play their favourite games , with the ONEPLUS 7 PRO winning hands down !!! Overall the ASUS ZENFONE 6 offers the total package experience for almost $150 Dollars cheaper than the ONEPLUS 7 PRO , with the difference not being too substantial in the pocketbook...…. Yes , I would splurge and pay the difference , just for the higher quality photo processing on the ONEPLUS 7 PRO ! Thanks Scarboro

I think you needed to explore Optiflex on the ZenFone 6 because that will enable apps to run faster.

Main problem of in display in one plus is to u have wakeup screen first then it will unlock not having always on display shows effect there

The Zenfone seems to have a flat screen which I greatly prefer over a rounded side screen so it ticks that box for me but I want an amoled panel. Maybe next year. So many phones are being introduced this year a amazingly affordable price points and with surprising features. It feels like Christmas and the playing field will just keep getting better.

Both are same but one thing is that Zenfone 6 has 6GB RAM and OnePlus 7 has 8GB Ram....but Asus is Genuine winner as if ASUS has 6GB ram...

I think the animation multitasking of the zenfone 6 has a slightly slower than the OP7 Pro, and the time touch responce too (60hz vs 90hz), but i'm quite supprised zen 6 slightly more speed in some apps than the OP7 Pro. But still Op7 pro is slightly better speed because the internal memory faster than the zenfone 6

I've read no comments. I'm at 5:17 now and I expect the Zenfone to get its butt whipped. Let's see . . . It wasn't as bad as I thought. Overall the Zenfone offers much more considering the price. One plus does have the screen, less chin and slight slimmer bezels on the side and top.

6GB on Zenfone is more than enough. The Zenfone is super fast and I did not even switch on AI boost.

I don’t understand why people are claiming that ZF6 has worse screen. It’s under 500 dollars with most of the hardwares that exceeds the phone at this price. If you want a better screen, you can spend 1000 and buy yourself a s10

I'll buy the zenphone because it's cheaper but guys don't kid yourselves the one plus is a better phone hands down. These people in the comments are so bias.
