Yeah uno I agree. But I also want to say, that goes to show the lack of effort Komoney does on their end, so much so that dkayed’s website is more helpful with guides and tutorials, usage rates and combos for newer players than they will ever pull off. Which is a shame.

Yup, you can do that, but then you're either left with a 2400 ATK Apollo (instead of 3200) OR you don't have Linkuriboh on the field to protect Apollo. In exchange, you gain a follow-up card through Ash. Debatable which one is better really. I'd lean towards your version, but an extra negate on Apollo can be worth more than a follow-up card (which you could prob search for through other means if you really need it)

I would disagree on the super consistent part. Without bonfire opening the 2 card combo is pretty rare aswell as your options to extend

@@poro9084 No. Your main and best one card starter is snake eye ash. And that is only played at 4 copies if you play one for one. There are other cards that can also do a one card combo like all the diabellstar cards or populus. But both of those will end on a weaker version of the Ash combo. Without Bonfire the amount of possible extension is also limited. Basicially the deck is decently consistent but the insane Boards are inconsistent to achieve. What actually makes this Deck so extremely strong is its Insane Recovery and Grindgame while also having layered interruptions.

you literally have wanted / diabellstar / ash / one for one / original all of these are 1 - 1.5 card combo and even normal summon poplar isn't a bad play if you only have him . bonefire is great but it also has it cons which is Droll @@domimomi3954

like I don't know any other deck that makes a minimum of 5 interruptions with only 1 card and they have 15 one card starters @@domimomi3954

Yeah goddess is an interesting target honestly. Especially if they handtrapped you or something and you only end on half a board without baronne + savage. If you have only like flamberge + amblowhale + IP (which is the typical board through droll), you lose to normal summon albaz, not much you can do to it. Albaz will fuse with whatever IP summons (or fuse with IP if you don't chain IP), and they get so much pluses from the free MJ. You don't have priority so they can do ns albaz first thing before you make apollo. apollo + baronne also loses to branded lost + normal albaz. (or lost + brafu or lost + anything really) Unless you negate lost with baronne (but that feels really bad). savage can still negate albaz under lost tho cuz he negates eff, not activation, but yeah. There are lots of branded in masters, I added goddess recently just for this reason mainly Sometimes goddess comes up too randomly even outside branded matchup, when you need the removal without any tempo delay by chaining IP to something. It's perfectly valid tho not to play goddess cuz she doesn't come up THAAAT often, but viable tech option for sure.

@@ThePaulodash oh bro, i'm still loving Elf, too. Never been a Spright fan, really, but Elf is great tuner support. Running her in Blue-Eyes Bystial Horus these days, and she does so so much for the deck. We just got SP, too.. great days

How does branded play into this?

You only need either Ash, Bonfire, Wanted or Diabellstar to start the best ones. Even Poplar only let you combo... whats your problem?

I got 3 Ash, 3 Poplar, 2 Dstar, 3 wanted, 2 bonfire and allot of the time I only open up with one and it gets negated It’s like my opponents get the crazy awesome snake eyes hands all the time that can play through hella hand traps and I get the. Normal Ash gets negated and pass
