I remember when this episode came out. 110 and the finale of DBS were the first two moments I saw of an anime going globally viral. There was a crowd of over 15,000 people that showed up to watch the finale in Mexico in a plaza/stadium. And the amount of reactions was insane. Literally hundreds if not thousands of reaction videos to 110 alone.

Oh I remember that wait, it was PAINFUL!!!! But OMG, watching those two episodes back to back, seeing Goku reach UI for the first time was such an INSANE experience! I watched the episodes premiere in Japanese and watched with a chat, everyone went nuts over the fight.

When these eps were airing, the form didnt even appear in the manga! So It appeared in the anime first and everyone was saying Goku and vegeta will fuse, some said goku and gohan will fuse, some even said we might see ssj 4 😂 but Ultra instinct took us all by surprised!

In the manga, ultra instinct is more based on being able to dodge and move without thinking, something that could be mastered by high level martial artisits. In the spirit of that notion, Roshi used movements that were compared to ultra instinct while fighting Frost. He's so experienced and well trained that he can slightly mimic a godly transformation.

When they mentioned Goku absorbing the spirit bomb I immediately remember Goku absorbing the Spirit Bomb in the DBZ movie with Android 13 and it was one of the all time coldest scenes in DBZ history for me. Schemmel took it to another level too.

In real life for normal human, Ultra Instinct is an ultimate technique that separates the consciousness from the body, allowing it to move and fight independently of a martial artist's thoughts and emotions that making your body increasing more durability, speed and strength.

@@houseofaction Wrong. In real life the martial artists brain still have to send the command to the muscles in the hand to punch. Ultra Instinct can be better explained from an IT nerds perspective, you eliminate the ping. Thats all.

They added "autonomous" because in the sub it's called *Migatte No Gokui* which is three words and they had to add a new word to Ultra Instinct just so they can match the lip sync.

"Migatte no Gokui". Fun fact: ultra instinct wasn't in toriyama's original script. Once you finish this arc you'll understand why. The idea that Toriyama planned for this arc is still somehow represented through ultra instinct, you'll understand that idea, cuz it's important to understand Jiren a little bit.

The concept of ultra instinct is to completely rely on your instinct (no shit) without thinking anything on your mind. The form ultra instinct isn't a myth among the gods and angels it's actually the form of angels (whis kind) and angels always on ultra instinct that's why vegeta and goku weren't able to touch whis in training. And there are gods who possess ultra instinct but not its mastered version, beerus is one of them, that's why he was shocked after seeing goku in UI because goiu is an mortal and this form is even impossible to achieve even for the gods.

I am with you on the music. Kai was so hard to watch and made me realize how much the Faulconer tracks made the original DBZ. DBS has a solid soundtrack though. The ultra instinct theme is an absolutely iconic all time track already.
