Would love to see a reverse beam alignment tool offered. Would also like to see the option to increase depth so taller items can fit inside for engraving(riser add on or just a taller machine). Passthrough functionality as well as a camera for work alignement (can be an add on) would be great. Keep up the good work.

Metal tube would be nice easier cooling, moving z for curved objects would be cool

Thanks for the update. Have you thought of building a rotary accessory for tumblers in house, or would you leave that to the aftermarket?

Integrated water cooling (or better yet use and RF air cooled laser source) and autofocus would make this awesome.

Also integrated air assist would be ideal

Sounds killer. I am itching for my altmill to get delivered. Now I can't wait to be able to get this killer lazer to go with it.

Curious why the 75W target vs. 80 or 100 that is more typical for CO2 at that size (24x36)? - assuming of course other's 80W are truly 80W ;)

size of tube from 60 watts of peak power rated of 75W but you will never use it cause them tubes dont like nothing above 60% power usage... u can use them at 99% but you will burn them very fast from 6000hrs rating will drop to like 1000-2000 hrs and they pretty expensive... also size .... 60Watts/50Watts length wise is around 70-80cm 80W around 120cm 100Wats 150cm etc bigger means longer... so u need a bigger case etc... im curious cause what they are doing is already on market... they are called k40 or upgraded version 6040 which are around 80W at around 1200$ full setup enclosed with all chinese crapamoli accesories... what i seen in their build is a 6040 with a better contorller better rail but they seem to have kept the same old crappy belt driver... and some prototype casing from wood... which is no buenno since this type of lasers are predisposed to making big sparks, especially for thick material cause of air assist if u go to many passes it will literally instantly combust like a jet engine... so my question is.... why not just sell an upgrade kit for the existing products on market? motherboards, rails, controllers... cause i can buy all this and make them myself, and probably everyone that is into production co2 lasers can the know how isnt that dificult... unless they trying to target smoll plug and play audience and they have some proprietary software that makes it easy for people to just cut on a drawing and start cutting, but hey that also already exists... so i still didnt understand what they bring new to the table... the ruida controller is around 150$ the rails another 100$ the wire management and new case varies from your free time and scraps to paying some one to do it for u... im guessing their pricing will be in the realm of 2000-5000$ for this new product... so for me makes no business sense... cause at that pricing range ... u get a pro version industrial grade fiber laser (which can cut also metals)if u know where to look.

I’m sure the case is nothing like their production plans - rather something for the lab at the moment in early stages However I agree I’m curious how they will differentiate - they have the proven ability to deliver good technical support so that’s a major one-up - but needs other points too

At the moment we are looking to use an 90W (Maximum power) RECI Tube but the Rated Power is 75W

@@backcreekcustomrods Right now our quick pitch to customers is 36" x 24" Bed size, high power, high quality parts, great technical support for under $3000USD. From there we seek to add value where we can but comparing the bed size/power to other machines on the market, I think we'll be the best value for a North American/European produced CO2 Laser! But we also understand that we might not meet the needs for every customer looking for a CO2 laser or dedicated laser solution.
