I've just started learning ULTRAKILL speedrunning, since I'm doing NoOoB% and did my first few runs a couple days ago, and this will be super helpful to keep in mind even if I don't end up using it in any runs. Thanks for the video!
Im glad that I saw this video and practiced the tech. There has been a fair amount on instances where I was knocked far out of the stage in cybergrind and Ultraboosting saved my run. Thank you for this guide.
First thing I did after watching this video was going into 2-1 and beating it in under 20 seconds. Felt really cool flying through the entire level from the start all the way to the end. You have to use slam storage to get enough height to make it to the end, at least if you use the secret orb you explode the stairs at the very beginning to get to as a starting point. There's probably a way more efficient speedrun strat version using Ultraboost, but dang it I felt like a speedrunner for a second there.
why does absolutely no one talks about the "remember last used weapon variation" option, it's very useful, you dont have the change the first weapon at the start of the level you just "equip it" and you have it

Quick question I just now noticed in the “lukewarmfix” it says that the player can no longer parry an infinite amount of things. I am a bit confused as to what that means as I didn’t necessarily feel any difference when it came to parrying projectiles.
it was to prevent cheesing v2 i'm assuming, as parrying his shotgun if you were close enough and lucky enough would parry ALL of the pellets leading to an instakill
