Ok, but can we talk about how creepy Ultrakill is without enemies and soundtrack ? If not for plushies and goofy V1 it would legit be horror game. Especially Prelude.
I was hoping for Gabriel to make his usual dialogue, then scream “BEHOLD! THE POWER OF AN ANGEL!!!” only to vanish instantly and say “May your woes be many, and your days few”
Gabriel would say, "BEHOLD THE POWER OF AN ANGEL!!!" one second later, "ENOUGH!" point zero two three seconds later, "blah, blah, blah, YOU INSIGNIFICANT FUCK!!! THIS IS NOT OVER!!!" Half a second later, "May your woes be many, and your days few.
And so, V1 wanders Hell, losing not only power, but his mind as well. Eventually, when his time is about to come, he notices that enemy spawns is disabled at the top right of his HUD, and curses the player for letting him endure such agony till the very end.
But nobody came, the machine had in fact already killed everything that could be killed, leaving nothing but the memories of encounters, yet none living. Nobody is there anymore, the machine has long anihilated all
Yeah it could be like mirrors edge, but if anything the intense combat is what I’m interested in the game for mainly, plus the story is pretty interesting too.

POV, Ultrakill fully comes out and when you beat the game you get to play through the “lore-accurate” version from the start again as a lil side thing, and this is it.

This, "ULTRAKILL Act 1 but V1 isn't really feeling it today" and "ULTRAKILL Act 2 but V1 just wants something to go his way for once" are all now considered by me as the three ultrakill movies Or in other words i absolutely love this, this entire video is just beatifully done
Having just played through the game myself, there’s something so… unnerving and depressing about this… like it feels like the game glitched or something has gone terribly wrong before v1 could even arrive… seeing v1 also just so depressed is… genuinely upsetting for some reason too…

When you think about it, this could be canon considering how V1 talked to himself while chasing V2, not to mention that V2 is fully capable of creating some sort of noise
Imagine if at the end of ultrakill, when you kill everyone, v1 sits on the end of hell, looking at a ocean of blood from everything he's killed, and waiting his battery to slowly run out as he thinks about all that happened and everything he went through
after watching this i feel different, Ultrakill is a fast paced shooter with constant stimuli, so when it never happens you feel empty?, the fun is gone, and it made me think about existence really since ultrakill is about hell and humanity's death or downfall, and the sound effects of layer 7 of the trees screaming made me feel bad, this video made me feel bad for playing ultrakill, im not religious but this made me think, this video was meant to be comedic (and it was) but i feel sad and awful for some reason..?, good video though
this is so normal. No matter how powerful a being is, if it is alone, its existence and power are meaningless. It was possible that v1 would be hell alone right now, if it came late. Because gabriel already said that limbo and lust are gone. However, I think that this destruction in this video would not be possible, maybe it could have been in the form of a complex ruin.

I watched through this hour long video, this is lobotomy tier content! Also, I want to point out that the V1 was not going insane properly, like, his interactions with plushies were to dry and not emotional enough. I would have made him talk to them more, maybe even gather them in one place and like… make up a dialogue? Maybe even flirt in one specific moment and then burst into tears, also in the end I would have made him self terminate

I think it would be cool to release such a video when the game comes out and on its birthday (O think the 5 years Ultrakill anniversary would be nice) where you should follow such a template with two more layers of time and in the end it would be that actually all of V1 friends have a surprise party for his birthday in sandbox level! I think that would be a nice happy end (I feel that I’ve made some unspeakable grammar mistake but I cannot understand where, some things are too f*cking hard to express in not ones native language)
