This version is great. One of those performances I prefer to the record. The choir saying "C'mon!" and then going "Oh!!!" and then snapping. It adds to the song. I agree Kanye could have sounded better, but he went ham on the song before this that night, and I think he may have been overwhelmed by anticipation for this performance. Everyone did great. The choir was A+ amazing
Gt5rocks78 they not hating on him.. they’re just saying he’s the reason this song is what it is. This is an amazing song, one of my favourites, but it’s chances verse that really makes it what it is.
Spike Aitchison he uses auto tune for artistic effect, listen to 808s and Heartbreaks, there’s autotune all over that album, buts it’s such an iconic version of Kanye that it sounds so fitting for the album. When he used auto tune it’s always with reason. He knows he can’t sing well
Here I'll describe it in words. Horrible, hubristic, juvenile, off key, rambling with no sense of a beat or musical cohesion whatsoever, and just really bad.
A Gentleman exactly what I was thinking from beginning to end, every ab-lib, Swizz, Noah, the dream, Kelly, Kanye, the little girl praying, Kirk, the choir, chance did his thing , but you need every ingredient for this meal to bang like it does!

Everyone critiquing kanyes singing, take in consideration he's a rapper and I very talented one at that. He tried something different in this song which probably wasn't a great idea but don't forget his talent
Even when his work is attacked, it still speaks for itself. Thank you Kanye, for sharing the beam of Knowledge that the Heavenly Father gave you. Am grateful that the universe allowed your abilities to shine, to beam forth even in the midst of the madness. Stay FREE...
