There is a glitch issue here. 0:36 This part ought to appear smoother and more realistic, but RU-vid's compression causes 2 or 3 frames to be lost, giving the scene this weird appearance. Given how hard I worked on this scene, I am really dissatisfied. I attempted to repost, but it did not resolve the issue. RU-vid, please fix this compression problem!
I love the little imperfections that mimic the older Ultraman shows. You know the overall roughly of the characters, sound effect, special effect, and even how the monster head flew off before it is being hit. The monster totally fits the vibe BTW despite being a custom made creature. Looks like something from Ultraseven or Return of Ultraman. ❤❤❤
Anyone can animate a kaiju battle, certainly. But it takes a certain special someone to animate it in a way that looks exactly like it was filmed (and I MEAN filmed!) with practical effects. This is incredible! Even the sets look like they're made out of cardboard. They look like actual sets. This is stunning!
Wow...you truly nailed the feel of the original Ultraman Series. The head flying off a tad before the attack connected was brilliant. You need more subscribers!
It really makes me feel a new kind of happy that the comments on these clips are appreciating so much of the attention to detail you're putting into making these look especially authentic. Absolutely love the head starting to fly before the laser chops it off
Great detail, down to the rough surfaces of the original Ultraman mask, and the slight oscillation of the flying Ultraman model suspended on lines. Just incredibly well done.
man you even replicate the practical effects perfectly like the moment where Pagon's head got chopped off before the cutter reaches it, really makes it feel more authentic 🔥
This is amazing, I though this is practical effect and costume like the classic Ultraman, then the second watch I notice the detail and the tile did say Blender animation, the animation especially the texture and movement is really good.
You can see the love for tokusatsu in every frame, in every detail. I love this so much. I'm happy Corridor Crew got me here because goddamn, what an absolute masterpiece.
Oh my God. I can see some of the Blender in the Gojira short (except for the stop motion segment which I still refuse to believe isn't stop motion - mad props dude). But this - THIS - is flawless. Especially the plastic fig of Shin Hayata toward the beginning. And I own the Ultraman full first series DVD so...yeah.
Holy smokes! This is amazing! Your attention to detail on these clips is so fantastic! It feels like a lost episode from the sixties! And the 3D models and animation is perfection!
That's great! Are you planning on doing a short movie with original kaiju/tokusatsu monsters and such? Always more exciting to see original stuff even though this is still really cool!
Wow!! this is exactly what we I saw in long time ago. Are you telling me that your age is only 19?? you are such a talented and respecting young man! A major studio should hire you! You must have a bright future ahead of you☺
0:04 so this pagon it’s telesdons cousin but not as deformed as detton and his names is confusing me with another kaiju but with a different name being pagos and he’s got some sort of drill hands and he roars like megalon hmmm ok gotta admit that’s a good design
Translation The movements of Pagon and Ultraman are very natural! It really feels like there's an actor in there doing the moves and not a 3D animation. The Ultraman ripping off Pagon's hands and even the fact that the head comes out before the attack! There is a scene in a movie where something similar happens, the monster's head comes out before the attack reaches him. Edit: Sorry if the translation got confusing! I used a translator that has a limit of 160 words, so I had to split the text.
This is incredible! How you made them look like actual guys in rubber suits is amazing! All the nuanced touches like the visual effects and physical acting styles were true to the tv series.
