If you don't know yet,Umarex start production of that same model but with original steel slide instead zinc. And all other parts are made of steel. Model is Glock 17 gen5 SV(steel slide). I ordered it from Germany..don't ask about price haha,399 euros. Hope you make a rewiew of that model too when you will have a chance to get it.
The top of the barrel at the breach or chamber is alot lower than the real steel. This is because the barrel does not pivot upwards when the cartridge is in battery. Easy to notice if you know the real steel version.
That's because Umarex never do good PAKs or airguns. What was the reason of fixed barrel to the frame? Why not do it as with real Glock. What does that pin do on the back serrations? And so on...
I wish I could get my hands on one of these but nowhere outside of Europe sells them and I doubt I would be able to import one without having a nightmare of time with border security.
@@dozhq Ya you can but by law magazine capacity is limited to 10 and you have to get what is known as a Restricted Possession and Acquisition Licence (RPAL). Gun laws in this country are such a nightmare and a minefield especially when it comes to the ones the government thinks are extra scary.
It is a pity that it uses the system of firing the bullet by means of a hammer and Floating spike instead of the original Glock system, it would be more fun if the system was the same as a real firing Glock
Its not easy. The Barrel is fixed to the lower part. The only method is to cut it down, and maybe weld the "replacement Barrel"😉 onto the lower part and put some screws to support it.
bro, great video. I know this is from 2 years ago but come on man.... turn the adds off. RU-vid is profiting from your video whilst your viewers get frustrated! I hope you don't take offence.
@@DoubleSJoker_13 nah mate. These are made for the EU, Asia markets. It would probbably be cheaper to search "US market blank pistol" and see what you find. Good luck!
@@replicablankguns in case you don't know yet,Umarex start to produce new version of this Glock 17 gen5..model gen5 SV(stahl verschluss),steel slide which means slide is not made from zinc alloy but from real steel as real 9x19 Glock 17 and polymer is from real firearm. As a blank gun collector i can't miss that 🙂 so i already preorder that model from Germany. Price is a bit high..399 euros but i can't wait to get that replica.

Hi, recently I moved to Bulgaria from the Czech Republic and I have a question. If I want to buy a blank gun for home defence in Bulgaria, do I need to get a gun license to buy one or just an ID to prove I'm over 18 years of age?
It depends on country, just Google replica gun rules in your country! And the universal rule might be don't flash it in public or even aim at anyone because that would be considered as a crime even if it's a replica!
