Were hoping to be able too buy the HDX68 Forty Joule in March . According too two major paintball Retailers. They are taking PreOrders @ 400.00 . I cant wait.!!! Cheers Boss!!
Knew this was coming... Just didn't think it was going to be so soon😂👍 Boy howdy that's quite a difference 😁👍 Holy mackerel dandy...!!!😎👍 BRAVO 😎👍 😎👍❤🖖 Love Brother
Pretty bad ass! Good demos as ever Rune, you got a bit more power than I did with CO2. When you try HPA make sure you use some towels you don't mind ruining :)
Thanks my friend. I will try it with 850 PSI. and guess the power will be even higher. I have some extra stuff inside the ball-trap so I guess it will be safe. Thanks for the info. Cheers :)
@@runerebel8441 For CO2 testing I only removed the valve block, I left the CO2 restrictor in and still got 40J+. I did use the HD24 restrictor though which has a slightly bigger hole. I think you'd get more shots with the CO2 restrictor and still good power.
Gratulálok! Nagyon jók a vieók. Sokat segít a tuningolásban.
Thank you my friend. Iam glad you like my videos. I have put on subtitles on all my videos, but it only works on some of them. I dont know what is wrong. I hope RU-vid will fix this soon. Greetings from Norway 😃👍
hello, if you drill the co2 restriction screw to 1.5 mm and remove the throttle chamber flange as you did on a 16 joules model, how much power do you get? and how many marbles can we shoot with a new co2? Thank you for your reply.
Hi. Without the valveblock but with the restrictor I get ca 12 good shots. I have not drilled the restrictor. If I want power I just remove it 😉. Cheers 😃
Hi, great video thanks! Can I ask how you got off the brass plate covering the valveblock that holds the puncture indicator? Cant seem to get it off to get at the valve.
@@runerebel8441 😂😂. I still think it’s expensive 😂. I lived in Canada for 35 yrs and air guns are or were cheap there. (Left in 2015) I have the hdr and tweaked to its max. As U.K. is almost impossible to get firearms.I like the look and power of this marker in the video and maybe one day purchase it. I just bought a crossman SNR bb/pellet revolver as it was on sale 1/2 price for £68. I like the look of that revolver also.I got it more for coffee table toy and maybe plinking indoors depending on noise. Thanks for your videos they helped me decide on hdr purchase and mods to it last year.
Hi there, great channel, recently bought upgrade kit for the 7.5 Joule HDB 68. Is it the same process to fit the kit as you have shown in this video? Or have you made a video specifically for this kit. I have tried corresponding with HD24 but due to the language barrier I am not clear on the process. Any help appreciated.
Thanks Rune, HDB looks a good stock gun/marker to power-kit. No expensive barrels/chambers to double the price. HDR50 and a seasoned up HDB for the good Lady by the bedside cabinets. Question is though, will the HDB chamber and shoot the Chrome-steel-balls, 50cal, 8.3g. If so Im getting one.
Thanks my friend. Iam glad you like the video. Very easy to powertune. No expencive mods needed. The cal 50 ammo is to small. It uses cal 68 balls. Greetings from Norway 😃👍
@@runerebel8441 Cheers Rune. Yep 50 cal too small, what was I thinking, too much Christmas Sherry. How about the HDP (Cinderella) marker. Can that cycle the chrome-steel-balls.?. Think they need to do the HDB marker in 2 caliber maybe ?
@@jeffsmith50001 The steel balls in cal 50 works great in the HDP50. Great power from that pistol. Yes the HDB should have also been made in cal 50. Maybe they will later 🤔
Hey Sir, thank you for all the videos regarding this HDB 68 power boost! To your experience, if only removing the valve block and not touching anything else (letting the factory Pin ON, letting the factory Restrictor ON), how many Joules can be obtained? Will the CO2 cartridge be sufficient to fees the gun with enough power as the restrictor and pins are still present? Best regards!
Thanks my friend. Iam glad you like my videos. Only removing the valveblock but keeping the restrictor, should give you ca 35 joule. You will get ca 10 good powerful shots plus a few weaker shots. If lucky you can shoot the hole magazine of 16 balls with one 12 gram CO2 😃
Thanks a lot for your reply! I actually found the answer to my question while... watching another of your videos on the HDB 68 😄 Apologies for the loss of time to reply me! I'm watching more of your videos regarding other guns, super interesting, keep on the great work! Have a good evening.
Yes it looks cooler, but the HDX is more realistic since it has a pump action and is made of metal. Both are cool markers, but the HDB is much easiyer to powertune 😃👍
@@runerebel8441well, the hdx40 needs just a barrel extension, hope it will be available one day from our friend(you know who) and you have the 88g for enough powerful shots. It's more expensive, but running the HDB on same numbers and more shots you need hPa or some adapter for 88g. The only advantage I see for the moment is the semiautomatic. After first tests from our American guys which you probably saw I expected more, but on the other side what to expect from a single 12g cartridge.
Sure. But I only use a box filled with a pillow in the bottom, then some old cloth. It stops almost everything. Not sure abouth firearms, but all I have shot from paintball markers 😉
The two restrictors you test without..is that worth to change the pin ?.. mean that its already leak to much co2, right through. Its must be the spring inside, that are weak.
Hello Herr Tom. If you remove the valveblock but not the restrictor you will get over 30 joule energy depending on ammo and temperature. No powerpin or Powerkit is needed. Just remove the valveblock and you have good power. For even more power also remove the restrictor, and then you have over 40 joule. Good luck. Greetings from Rune in Norway 😃
Very informative video, Rune! New subscriber here! I'm new to these types of guns and wondering why Power Kits are being sold (about $60 for the HDB) when all you have to do is remove the restrictor to make the gun more powerful? Will the Power Kit make any difference? Maybe for safety or preventing a gas blowup... Any idea? Thanks for any feedback.
Thank you my friend. The HDB68 dont need any powerkit. Just remove the valveblock and restrictor from the CO2 tube and you have max power. If you want more shots at a bit slower velocity then leave the restrictor in place. But always remove the valveblock. Good luck with the powertuning 😃😃
Hello my friend. I ndid a test in the cold last winter with the HDR68. The velocity dropped some but it still worked fine. But it was not as cold then. However I would be careful using these types of "plastic" markers in extreme cold. The plastic might be very fragile and can breake. 🤔
AAAWWESOME VIDEO MY BROTHER !!!! IF YOU JOT DOWN FPS RESULTS ON PAPER AND MAKE A GRAPH , YOU WILL SEE KEEPING CO2 RISTRICTOR IN IS WORTH IT !!! MORE REGULATED POWER SHOTS .!!!
Hello sir, many thanks for your videos :) I did it, I removed only valveblock (nothing else, not the restricor and pin) and I confirm that it is stronger :) I d'ont know exactly how many joules only without valveblock...? But I think I left the black rubber seal inside... is it grave ? Many thanks Regards
Hello Sir. The little black O-ring will most likley just shoot out the barrel, so nothing to worry about unless you get any jams or leaks. Your HDB should give around 30 joule or so no, depending on ammo. Take care and have a nice weekend. Cheers 😃
What is the purpose with the gasket/o-ring on valve block if it just fills the space in the valve chamber? Same on the HDP 50. Is it critical or is it just there? 😂 Don't know if I'm wrong, but I don't think the HDR 50 has it Regards/Hälsningar from/från Sverige/Sweden
Hello my friend. The small O-ring on the valveblock is there to prevent any leaks and rise in power on the 7,5 joule version. Remove the O-ring and valveblock if you want power. Greetings from Norway😃
Hi! Friend, I have been looking for the airtight chamber structure of your Hdb.68 in all the videos (when the bottom cylinder is tapped to puncture, a red thimble will come out, indicating that the gas has been punctured), because there is no such thing in Taiwan. Exploded view, my thimble unfortunately fell on the floor and broke, so I don’t know what its original structure was?
Hi my friend. Sorry for the late reply. So you need a new pressureindicator? I have not seen them sold seperatly but ask your lockal gunshop. Maybe they can order them from Umarex or from the factory that makes them in Taiwan. Good luck.
It doesn't matter! Friend, I’m glad you replied. I have solved it all, but there is a problem. I accidentally burned out the screw on the upper flat screw controlling the airflow hole in the HDB 68, co2 cylinder. I don’t know if I can buy it in a general store. Ordinary screws instead of the original ones? Because this part is not available in Taiwan!
Hi my friend. Is it the restrictor you think of? I have made this from the tip of a used 12 gram CO2 canister. Cut it ca 12 mm wide and file down to ca 11,2mm. Then it should fit well inside the CO2 tube. Good luck 😃 @@user-lk7wd6cb3l
@@runerebel8441 Friend, I want to ask an important question. Mine keeps blowing air from the front. I have replaced the O-ring with a new one, but I don’t know if it has something to do with the small metal lock inside my pump. I don’t know its length. Is it better to add threads as long as possible? Because I think the ones you bought are longer than the original ones. Also, does it have to be machined to cut a groove on the front metal head?
Hi friend. Is it farting or does it dump out all the CO2 in one blast? If it dumps out all the CO2 in one blast then I guess its the sear spring that is disslocated or missing. If it only farts (make a drrrr sound) every time you take a shot its normal. Not sure about machining any parts for it.@@user-lk7wd6cb3l
I just removed the block, did not do anything else. I only intend to use rubber/steel balls about 6 grams, do I need to worry about any O-rings or seals (with only the block removed)? Waiting for weather to get out and try it...... Thanks!
@@runerebel8441 Thank you sir! I always use oil (airtool oil) or silicone oil on the CO2 cartridge heads. I also go crazy oiling everything I can get to inside, without disassembly. Habit left over from my working days. God bless!
God kveld Rune!
Under sitter ventilblokka.
@@runerebel8441 question I have hdr 50 and it's leaking at top near the brass screw on where the v block. After I modded what could be the issue I try talon tape I don't think Its where the v block was that's leaking
@@runerebel8441 ok I open it up and look at the o ring it looks good and I check the plunger green o ring also . The leak is near middle near where I took the valve block out
Hi my friend. The only type of glass ammo I have ever tested is marbles, but that was in a HDR68 using a patch around the ball. The marbles is to small to be used in the HDB68. If you can find glass balls with 17,3mm size then I guess you can use them. Cheers my friend 😃

Hello my friend. I dont know the threadsize on HPA bottles but its the regular type. The HPA bottles can be filled with either a pump, compressor or scuba-tank. Good luck my friend 😃@@cedricbardin3385
Hola excelentes videos!!!! Te agradeceria si me puedes decir cuantos jules mas puedo ganar. Gracias y excelentes videos
Hello my friend. Thank you. Iam glad you like my videos. Remove the valveblock for best results and leave the restrictor in the CO2 tube in place. This will give you around 35-40 joule depending on ammo weight and temperature. For max power remove the restrictor also. This will give you ca 45 joule minimum. If you buy the adapters from www.homedefence-24.com and use a 1100 PSI HPA tank or a 88 gram CO2 tank you can get over 70 joule. Good luck my friend 😃
Hi my friend. Not sure because the valveblock is the main pice stopping the flow of CO2. I guess you will have a little more power but not much. Only way to find out is to try and see..@@user-yy2tf7ui6v
Merci beaucoup mon ami ,
Hi my friend. If you remove the valveblock and restrictor you should get 45+ joule depending on ammo and temperature. But you will only get ca 4 shots with good power and maybe 3 more that has less power. If you want to shoot with max power I sugest you use HPA or a large CO2 tank. Greetings from Norway
I have my real killer HDR50 build up to a little riffle..yet. Next projekt going to be something like this pump riffle..a real HPA killer. I see people press HPA up to 1100..I dont know how long that going to life, before it just get trasch.
Jeff from the Facebook forum say 1100 PSI is way to much pressure. You must change the heatcore O-ring if you use that kind of pressure. I will try 850 PSI HPA, but normaly use CO2.
Yes. It will happend to mine if I use smooth PVC balls or undersized balls. It can be cure with a small pice of tape or rubber on the overside of the detent. But you will have to open up the marker to do so. Or you can just use rubber balls. Mine works great with rubber balls 😃
@@runerebel8441 Thanks for your reply. I will try using the rubber ones. I'm not adventurous enough to open the marker up lol. Thanks for your videos Rune Rebel. You got me into this whole less lethal marker idea. Thanks.

Hi there! Powertuning Rune's cannon. 👏🤘🤗. Yes, it is a bit expensive piece. However, 31 fpe is pretty good for a Co2 powered g*n. That's what you get from a 5.5 spring magnum air r*fle. If you really intend to use for home defence, 5 shots with 31 fp of energy should be enough to scare off any unexperienced or naive burglar. (Hurts like hell) Nevertheless, if you get robbed by a gang of criminals armed with assault rifles, you're fu***ed anyways. 😩🤦♂️ Shoot it into the snow to measure how deep the balls will go, just for fun. Or even more fun. Build a snowman and figure out how many shots it takes to blast the poor fella into smithereens. ⛄️ Ha ha ha haaa. Nice to see you again amigo. 😁 Happy new year! 😘
Thanks Amigo. I guess it would hurt quite bad beeing hit with it 🤔. Good idea. Maybe some shots into the snow would be a cool effect in a video. I will also try shooting at cardboard and tincans. I guess it will blast right through them 😁. Stay tuned for more videos. Happy new year Amigo 😃👍
