Very nice stuff from Florian Söllner Homedefence-24 and very good your presentation.Thank you for having us updated with everything we are interested in about the weapons of paintbal 👍🏻🌹🌹🌹
Great video my friend. Florian really know how to show some love for real. I got the Modified pin days ago and havent install it yet. This video is really helpful.
Hello again and thank you very much for yours useful videos.I would like to know which noise suppressor works best for my new HDR 68 16 joules (I think is more than than, anyway). The problem is the big bang and in an apartment of 45 sq metres my neighbor can be frightened.I am also thinking to have an extension batrel designed by 3D printer. What do you suggest bro? I hope you feel better, I have arthrosis in my knees so i have pain too.
Thanks my friend. Iam glad you like my videos. I have only seen suppressors in cal 50 for the Umarex markers. But I guess a longer barrel will help dampen the sound also. If you have a 3D printer you might be able to make a supperssor that fits. Good luck. Hope you can make something. Also good luck with your artritis. Hope you dont have to much pain. Kindest regards Rune 😃
Hvis du har HDR68 så trenger du ikke noe ekstra deler. Bare å fjerne ventil blokka. Hvis du har HDR50 så må du ha enten Powerkit50 eller Powerpin. For max power kan du kjöpe det lange tuning barrel.
This pin will give you a few more shots at a little slower (but more even) velocity than if you just use it with the stock pin and open valve. It can be used for all the Umarex Markers (HDR, HDP HDB). The best marker to use it in is the HDR50, but all the other has some effect from using it. But valveblock and restrictor must be removed from all the markers if you use this pin. The stock powerlevel dont matter. After removing the valveblock and restrictor they all give abouth the same velocity and energy.
Thanks my friend. The 7,5 joule version gives ca 12 joule max if you use heavy ammo. If you remove the valveblock and put in a restrictor in the CO2 tube you get ca 25 joule max. In the video I have no valveblock and removed the restrictor from the CO2 tube. I put in the new pin from homedefence-24, and now the power is max ca 32 joule. I can get higher power if I use the stock pin but then the power drops below 20 joule after the 3 shot or so. The pin make the velocitys more stabile from what I can see 🤔
Hi. I just used an old paintball oil I have. Its named Gold Cup Lubricant. You can use Siliconeoil and teflone oil also. Just read the lable and make sure it dont harm the seals and O-rings.
Hey rune I ordered the 11j model looking to put the tuning barrel on and hook it to hpa , do you think I need this pin or will it matter if using hpa what’s the best mods for using with hpa for max power
Hello friend, Sorry about the language barrier. I'm from Brazil and in my country we have HDR 68 16j. To have maximum power with 12g Co2, do we just need to modify the PIN and remove the restrictor from the CO2 pipe? Is there any other modification to increase the power without using the HPA kit? Greetings and I was happy to know that you are well
Hello and thank you my friend🙏. The only modification you need to do for max power is remove the restrictor from your 16 joule HDR68. That should bring the energy up over 30++ joules. If you buy a long barrel for it you will get over 40 joule 😃💥👍Greetings from your friend in Norway 👍
@@runerebel8441 Thank you, my friend. Your response is a great relief. If you allow me, I want to ask just one more thing. Would Zram Extender be able to give me 5 even more powerful shots, or will I have 2 or 3 good shots and the other 2 shots very weak? Do you think it's interesting to modify this?
Iam glad to help my friend. The Z-ram extender I have put on the HDR50. It works great on that marker. It must be used with the restrictor in place. I dont think you need it on the HDR68. Just use it without the restrictor for most power. You will get 3 or 4 hi power shots and 3 more with lower power before you are out of CO2. Use ammo that weigh between 5 and 10 gram for max effect. Good luck 😃@@HDefenseBr
How does a small pin like that make a market shoot better? Is it because of air flow blockage? I’m interested on doing this mod, lmk if it’s worth it thanks!
Thanks for this new video Rune. In your opinion, would this Powerpin be enough to increase the power without the need to enlarge the gas inlet to 1.5mm or are both things compatible at the same time? Cheers
Thanks my friend. With this new pin you can remove all the restrictors. So with the new pin installed you can remove the disk with the little hole. I will make more videos testing this out in also the HDR50 and HDP50. Stay tuned for more videos. Cheers 😃
@@runerebel8441 The truth is that there are so many new features in terms of updates to the Umarex T4E, that in my case I have several of this range, I still have them from origin. Honestly I would like to increase their power but without having to disassemble them. I'm not very crafty. What would be the easiest to install without having to disassemble them? All the best.
@@ingreible66 Do you have the 11 joule versions? If so only remove the restrictor disc from the CO2 tube. Its just a long flat head screwdriver to do so. Then you have max power. But the gun might start farting because of overpresssure. The powerpin in this video prevents this. Its super easy to install. If you have the 7,5 joule versions it has to be disassembled for more power.
@@runerebel8441 Yes. The pistols are 11 joules and the HDS68 16 joules. So if I understand you correctly, I can remove or drill the restrictor disc for all of them and at the same time be able to put the Powerpin on them, right? Greetings and sorry for being so heavy.
@@ingreible66 Hi. Yes you can use the powerpin if you have the restrictor in place. But the restrictor can be removed and you only need the powerpin. Then you dont have to drill the restrictor 🙂
Amazing video rune, i was wondering if it would still have a consistent power of 20-30J after each (new) CO2 cylinder or if it would drop one time and never back up again?
Correct. With an open valve and orginal pin you will only get like 2-3 shots from the CO2 canister. If you use the powerpin the power might be a little lower but you can shoot all 6 shots from the cylinder before you are out of CO2
@@runerebel8441 Sorry for late answer... so if i understand correct. (hdr 50 7.5j version) I remove valve block...i get 2-3 shots then all gas leaks out. but if i put in power pin i get 6 shots? but do you know how many joule???? 7.5-16j. btw i love your videos
@@ipodnerd1337 Thanks. With stock barrel you get ca 23 joule +/- but it depends a lot on ammo weight and temperature. If you also put on a long barrel you can get ca 50 joule (on first shot). Greetings 😃
I took the u shaped piece behind the brass plug out of my HDR 11j and also took the restrictor disk out of the CO² chamber and it farted all the CO² with the modified pin in place. Had to put the stock disc back.
@@THELESSLETHALSPOT Hi. I guess it was the HDR50, not the HDR68? The farting sound normaly comes when the CO2 pressure is either to hi or to low. Or if the spring for the sear is dislocated. I just tryed the powerpin in my 11 joule HDR50 and had removed the valveblock and restrictor from the CO2 tube. Mine worked OK. Maybe hi temperearture? After you put the restrictor back in the CO2 tube, did it work normaly then?
@@runerebel8441 thanks for your reply I appreciate it. Yes youre right it was an HDR50 11j. After I put the disc back it shoots good again. It was a fairly hot 90° Florida afternoon. I tried twice with the first CO² capsule I got 3 really strong shots then it farted all the CO². I always use Umarex CO². After that I put another fresh CO² and couldnt even shot. That one blow all the CO² on the first shot, so I leave the Modified pin but screw the stock disc back again. It seems to be working fine now. I guess the ultra hot weather might be affecting the performance. Thanks for your help.
Hi. For the 16 joule version you should get just over 30 joule depending on ammo and temperature. Just remember to remove the restrictor from the CO2 tube if you use the powerpin. The 16 joule version has good power right out of the box so it will not be huge diffrence in power.
Hello sir. What is the difference between using this powerpin in comparison with only removing the valve block? According to your videos the performance is similar, so what is the benefit of buying this powerpin? Thank you!
Hello Sir. The pin is not needed in the HDR68, but it works great in the HDR50 and HDP50. If you have the HDR68 just remove the valveblock/restrictor and you have max power :)
Hello sir good morning from france..i have a question please...if i have the 16 joules version , i just have to remove the restrictor out of co2 tube and install the modified pin for Much Power ? That's it? Merci pour votre réponse bye😊
Hi Rune, I follow your videos with interest and in addition to complimenting you for the dedication you show, I wanted to ask you for a list of components to maximally upgrade the 16 joule Umarex HDR68. And which bullets are the most lethal for you? I am writing to you from Italy and I apologize for any grammatical errors...thank you
Hello my friend. Your english is perfect. The HDR68 in 16 joule is very easy to get max power from. Just screw out the restrictor from the CO2 tube. Then you have max power. You only get 6 shots from a CO2 canister, but they will be powerful. All type of cal 68 ammo of solid construction are great for it. Best are them more thightfitting ammo. I recomend you buy the Ammo6V2 slugmaker from www.homedefence-24.com and then you can make your own cheap slugs for it. Best weight seems to be around 7 gram or so. Good luck. Greetings from Norway 😃
hello dear friend congratulations for another video. I put this power pin on my hdr50 that has a power kit and I felt that it looks better with the original one in terms of number of shots at the power level I didn't measure it but I think it's better with the original pin what's your opinion? thanks
Thank you my friend. Iam very glad you like the video. I will try it in the HDR50 and HDP50 next week. I think the pin might work best in those models, but I cant say for sure until I try. Stay tuned for more videos my friend 😃
what I've been researching and what I've seen in other comparative videos is that this pin should actually work better for those who have the original gun without the valve and without the restrictor. I tested it today with the powerpin and the original pin and I noticed that with the original pin I shoot more and the gun works better.
Wow a 209 ft per second after the power pin is installed and Umarex has the nerve to claim 220ft per second out of the box. Thanks for the info though Awesome test
Want to test that pin in my hdp 50. Modified with no restrictor at all. Now I get power to 8 shoot. With that pin installed should be nice..3 shoots..haha.
@@runerebel8441 + any other mod if you want :), as long as the gun doesn't explode... I am curious to see how powerful it could get without HPA using all the goodies from home defense 24 =))
hi rune , i have the hdr68 16joules version , so if i remove only the restrictor from it i have max power ? Why does hd24 sell their own restrictor , is there any difference from an hdr68 whitout restrictor or a restrictor from hd24 ? Thank you , your channel is very helpfull
Hi. HD-24 sells their restrictor for the 7,5 joule version for people wanting to have the 16 joule version. For max power just remove the restrictor and use it with an open valve. You will have 5 powerful shots before no more CO2
@@runerebel8441 thank you ! Is changing the pin or change for the longer barrel/cannon add more power to it ? If yes , do you have a video tuto on your channel on how to proceed ? Thanks again sir
@@kozak5899 Hi. The pin works best in the HDR50 and HDP50 . A longer barrel is needed for max power. I have several videos of my old HDR50 with long barrel. I have sold the gun but the videos is still there 😃
Hello. If you use it you will get more shots from the gun (compared from not using it) and no farting. But you dont get more power. This pin works best in the HDR50 and HDP50. The HDR68 can be used with a totaly open valve but you risk farting
Hello my friend. The HDR68 can be used without the valveblock and with no restrictor. You will get ca 30 joule from it if you use it like so. The pressure inside the revolver will be quite hi so lubing with siliconespray/oil is a must. If you dont lube it enough you risk blowing the heatcore O-ring. I did so once and had to totaly disassemble it to fix it. Just remember to use the siliconespray and you should be just fine. Good luck my friend 😃
Because with this pin you can shoot without any restrictors in the valve/CO2 tube. You get 6 shots of relative even power. If you use the orginal pin the power drops after one or two shots.
@@runerebel8441 Thanks for the answer! So I can shoot with the same power with 5 forms? Or maybe I can shoot more times than 5? Maybe I can shoot 2 magazines?
Most HDR50 revolvers dont like to be used with no valveblock and using the stock pin. They normaly farts and dum all the CO2 in one or two shots. The HDR68 however can be used that way and still work fine. This video was just as test.
So when i bought that powerkit i should remove the restrictor, installed valve pin and gave restrictor back ? Bcs in that powerkit pack i have some restrictor too and i dont know why.. @runerebel8441
Do you mean why it comes with a restrictor? Well it depends on the verion you have. If you have the 7,5 joule version you get more even shots than if you use the revolver without it (no valve-block). But for the HDR68 you dont need any powerkits. Remove the valveblock (7,5 joule version only) and the restrictor (16 joule version only) and you have full power. Downside is you only get 6 or 7 shots before its out of CO2. If you use a restrictor you will get more shots at a little lower velocity.
Yes. Just remove the restrictor and you have max power. For enen more power you can add longer barrel and buttstock adapter, HPA tank etc. Its a never ending tuning game@@gellertgrindelwald3257
