In this video I show the difference in power depending on the type of valve pin used. I compare a standard aluminum pin with a steel replacement pin which differs in length. The dimensions of the pins are from 6 to 9mm.
The HDR 50 revolver is available without permission and is used for entertainment and self-defense. As ammunition, you can use rubber balls, rubber-steel balls and balls made of other plastics, glue etc.

There's a lot of work to make that video man thanks for the information I've removed my valve block I didn't replace the PIN I planned on pulling the pin out putting it in the drill and filing about a millimeter off of it I don't know if I'm pretty hard right now you probably correct about the aluminum penny wearing out easier have hdp 50 and I got a kit coming in with the valve both valves run rebel he does it with the cardboard too. Thanks for the content I couldn't believe it I was able to get the transcript and follow along that was awesome since I'm an American I didn't know what you were saying

Excelente trabajo, también es verdad de que la temperatura y presión atmosférica modifica los resultados esperados. Por ejemplo es normal que se produzca una diferencia de potencia en el primer disparo, ésto se debe a que el primer disparo se produce con una arma a temperatura ambiente. Luego el Gas CO2 enfría el sistema de disparo en el arma y según la cadencia del disparo se mantiene a temperatura estable. Diferencia similar encontrarás en temporada de verano o invierno. Gracias por tu aporte, aún no me animo a meter mano pero me parece que me conformaré con tan sólo dejar la aguja original de aluminio y retirar la trampa de gas que antes mencionaban en otros vídeos de que se podía ametrallar. Saludos desde Argentina, te deseo pronta recuperación. PDT: Ví en otro vídeo de que la nomenclatura en las armas varían, las que son comercializada en la Comunidad Europea varían de las que recibimos en Latinoamérica 🤷

@@MasakraChannel Mi Revolver tiene estampado del lado derecho del cañón "UMAREX" y debajo del mismo "cal. .50" más abajo pintado el código alfanumérico de 8 dígitos. Del lado izquierdo izquierdo del cañón grabado con recuadro "T4E" debajo del mismo "HDR 50". Por lo que entendí de otro RU-vidr parece ser que ciertas armas de Gas CO2 comercializada en la Comunidad Europea que no llevan grabado sobre el lateral del cañón no admite modificación salvo reemplazar el cañón o directamente toda la unidad de válvulas del interior de la carcasa del arma. Hago ésta aclaración porque parece ser que para poder ser comercializada en ciertos países con estrictas normas, la empresa UMAREX que fabrica éstas armas le regula la potencia para ser admitidas y comercializada.

Nice tests! Your video is only one on youtube doing these tests. Seem to show 9mm or 8mm pins are optimal length for power at normal barrel length. But I wonder why you didn't use HPA tank instead of CO2 cartridges? Much cheaper to test with HPA since it only takes muscle power to pump HPA tank back up and also more stable pressure regulation at 850 psi.

Hi, 8.4g is probably too heavy, but maybe at a distance of up to 5m they will work. Soon I will be testing (HDR50) 7g steel balls in the coating, but I do not count on any crazy effects....

Why does the power increase the more you shoot? In all of my testing, the power decreases by the 5th and 6th shot, with only a mild power increase on the second shot at most. Could this be a chronograph error, or something of scientific significance? This effect is so strange that it could be of scientific intrigue beyond the scope of mere air-gunnery.

Interesting test.Just wonder why at the first bolts its such a difference and its up to 30J.What would it make with the barrel extension...🤭 My observation is,if you press the rubber balls a bit deeper in the mag,they go faster out with a louder bang.Same for the polyballs.Some of them fit so hard,they go through bottoms of thick tin cans what no other plastic or rubber ammo did,but its just a 1.8g plastic ball.Too bad I dont have a crono.

Hi Sven, thank you for your insights. It's true that you can see some repetition of the power spikes. Usually one of the first two shots is stronger, then the power drops and stabilizes, then one of the shots No. 5, 6 or 7 reaches the value of even 30J, and the next ones are weaker and more stable.And this sequence repeats until the pressure begins to drop which causes further shots they are already linearly weaker. Maybe it is because of the time that passes between shots, i.e. maybe if I was shooting slower, the power of individual shots would be more stable. PLB balls are very good, maybe you can test on cardboard instead of chrono?

@@MasakraChannel i tested on tin cans and wood.used a 2cm wooden board and compare the marks.just impressive the difference of 68 and 50.the modified HDR enters much deeper.but as I said,the mag,the ammo and how it's loaded is important.you probably saw the effect at the plb?the one what enters bad makes the worst power.i think they are pushed by the full power because they resist milliseconds more in the loader.from that i pushed the razor rubber/metal balls deeper in the loader,that they fit in the smaller part,hope you understand what I mean.not to go out much on the back side because then the mag blocks in the gun.try it,you will be surprised what you can do in defense case with these rubber balls in case you have nothing else. Yes, I understand what you are writing about, better-fitted ammunition is pushed at full power by the gas, because there is less gas loss than in the case of ammunition that leaves gaps in the magazine. Thanks a lot , have a nice weekend Sven💥🎯💪

@@MasakraChannel hmm,not so.i thought first it's like that,but i looked at the plb and they don't fit to seal complete.if you hold the loaded mag into bright light you can see it.the rubber balls is smth else.so i think just because of thighter fit in the drum the pressure builds up higher and so the power is bigger.at the plb you can see it the best.they are from such poor quality,some fit tight,some not,you see the difference instantly.for guaranteed high power you can sort them before use.

Czesc, kupiłem hdr 50. Chce go ulepszyć by energia była bliska 17-20j. Zastanawiam się co najlepiej zrobić. Nie chce mega rozrzutu byle byla by moc. Lepiej wykręcić blok zaworu + dać 7mm pin( do kupienia na home Defence za 28€? Czy kupić stalowa dłuższą lufę? Dostępna jest na allegro lokalnie za 130zł. Ps na razie mam kupione kule metalowo gumowe ze strony combat.

Cześć, wystarczy że wyciągniesz blok zaworu, lufę też możesz dokupić i ewentualnie pina, przy wymianie pina pamiętaj o użyciu kleju do gwintów, teraz w weekend pokażę na filmie o co chodzi. Miłego dnia.

całą robotę robi wyjęcie bloku zaworu, a długa lufa bardziej ustabilizuje lot kulki i kulka też będzie pchana przez gaz przez dłuższy czas , co też da trochę większego kopa, ale też bardziej celne strzały

Ciekawi mnie współczynnik tarcia guma- aluminium , guma -stal. Ale ciężko je znaleźć. Pytani laika. Robiłeś test kulek gumowych / gumowo-metalowych psiknietych lekko smarem silikonowym?

Nie ma problemu, ta lufa jest od mojego znajomego, Jacka z Wawy, nie mam jej, ale można mu wierzyć w to co napisał w opisie. Nie porównywałem wyników, ale zawsze jest warto psiknąć trochę sprayem do komory, tam gdzie wkładasz kapsułkę CO2, co kilkadziesiąt strzałów wystarczy, a trochę do lufy, ale nie za dużo, szczególnie jak strzelasz z kulek które zbyt dobrze się nie ślizgają np gumowe (chociaż nie wszystkie), zrobione z kleju itd na same kulki w magazynku nie psikaj, bo im łatwiej kulka opuszcza magazynek, tym słabszy strzał.

to ja bym kupił jednak HDRa, dlatego że mimo tego że HDP też jest fajny, ale ma jeden wielki minus bo mocno ogranicza różnorodność amunicji i z czasem możesz się "znudzić" lub zapragnąć "czegoś więcej" 😀

Czyli oryginalna długość Pina = największa moc, krótsze to około 20j ale wyższa powtarzalność mocy. Kurde szkoda, że kupiłem z HD pin krótszy o 2mm, gdybym wiedział to szukałabym metalowego o oryginalnej długości. Chciałem mieć jak największa moc. Może popytam jakiegoś majstra na miejscu i dam oryginalny na wzór do odtworzenia z lepszego materiału. Udało mi się go wykręcić niemalże bez odkształceń materiału ;) ogólnie to bardzo dziwne, skoro krótsze są reklamowane jako te zwiększające moc. Jak strzelałem do bardzo grubego koca z oryginału (z oryginalnym pinem i z zaworem) to kule zostawały w kocu, nie przebijały go ale zatrzymywały się na nim. Po wyjęciu zaworu i założeniu krótszego Pina z HD, kule odbijają się od koca, nie wiem czy to oznacza że jest moc, czy nie ma :P

Hej Mateusz, nie wiadomo tylko jak ta większa moc wpłynie na pina z aluminium, czy po jakimś czasie nie zacznie się coś złego z nim dziać. Najlepszy i najłatwiejszy test, ale bardzo dobrze pokazujący różnicę, jaki byś mógł zrobić bez chrono, to myślę że jest to test na kartonach, zachowując podczas strzelania ten sam dystans i kąt lufy. Zbieżność słów przypadkowa, ale Masakra ile kul schodzi. Na razie najbardziej lubię te gumowo-stalowe PDG50. Zakupilem tez kolimator theta optics hd i jestem bardzo zadowolony z tego sprzętu. Zdziwiony jestem ze jest tak dobrze wykonany.Pozdo

@@MasakraChannel The problem is that if the pin is made of steel and the valve housing is made of aluminium, then the pin might wear down the valve housing.

I dont trust those chronos they are super inaccurate. The X radar airsoft versions are much better.

All chronometers have deviations and therefore the results should be taken as approximate values. If you want to compare something, you have to do it in the same way, on the same chronometers. What do you mean? what is the airsoft version of xradar? give me some link...

Desde España un saludo. Es un excelente video. Queria preguntarte si la pieza que viene taladrada y que traen 2 piezas con un kit powerkit el pin y la pieza taladrada a 0.8mm influye en la potencia? Dicen que lo suyo es taladrar entre 1mm y 1,5mm. Has hecho algun test?
