I got my 40J HDX two weeks ago and the first thing my son asked me was if a bayonet would fit on the front... I think he's been playing too many WW2 video games LoL 😞 I love the HDX, but the one thing I'm not that impressed with is the sights as they're just so tiny. I would definitely recommend changing them out to a foldable Red Dot sight or something that works for you. I get 15-18 shots off the 2x12 CO2 simply because it uses more CO2 per shot for the higher power. But since it's for home defense, not paintballing it's okey that I get one full load per set of CO2. If I cant stop an intruder with 15 shots starting at 340 mph for the first 3-4 shots, I've got bigger problems than how many shots I get off of my CO2 LoL.
I purchased mine from Modern Combat Sports, online, in the UK. There was no requirement to be a paintball gun club member. But, yes, some sites ask you to provide member number, but you can apply to the paintball gun association and pay a small fee to become a member.
@bethevoice-rawreviews902 yhh i think its £5. Im going grab one from MCS next week. Its crazy that they also sell the 40j uprgrade lol. Ive never shot anything above 3j i think in airguns so I cant wait to see what 16j feels like
Try putting a coin, size of a penny, possibly a 20p piece, where the gas bottles connect with each other, between them, when they're in the gun. Sometimes, the bottles don't reach the pins.
Not with my HDX, but I have heard of a few other back to back CO2 guns having this issue. Namely, the Umarex Cowboy Action Underlever. Try sticking a 5 pence peice between the two CO2s to act as a spacer. This works with the Cowboy action and may well work with the HDX.
