to be honest, a lot of people are not gonna like this reply but i have both markers, and for 199 us dollars this take the 1300 dollar rip off vks in my opinion, parts just never break, orings never go unless using high psi output and even thats rare, its much more power and can still go much higher they 83 joules, its weightless at maby over 2 lbs, no moving bolts to break at high pressure, no pins to break or come loose, also 90% less maintenance then vks or m17, you dont need to open it up and clean or even check every week like with them markers, no velocity cap to break on you, and it holds more rds then a vks also you can add a spare 14 rd mag to the hdb for a total of 30 rds, and they look like real guns compared to them bulky weak co2 pistols in 68 cal, but some are nice with hpa. and parts for t4e markers are easy to source world wide, every t4e marker has a rebuild kit for them. and they are dirt cheap and easy to mod, most dont need any parts or kits to power up, right out of the box just pull the block and your set full power with hpa, a barrel increase is your biggest increase next to hpa. so id say from my experience this is more reliable and powerful semi auto beast, HDB68,HDR50 and HDP50 are hands down more reliable more cheaper, more powerful and less matinence and it also looks good, a replica spaz 12 :) it can be changed from hpa to co2 in a minutes time, and even t4e markers suck with co2, there only as good and as powerful as the first shot after the first they just get weaker and weaker, id say this is more observational facts then opinion :) and umarexs customer service is superior to VKS as they cant even find the time to reply to customers who pay 1800 cad for a marker thats a bit better then an M17

yes the new gen 2s have a new softer detent and the old one have a solid detent that were breaking pepperballs and powderballs other then that they are the same

its kinda the same but the parts are located in different areas of the inside so it looks different

only the co2 restrictor is the same fit not the pin, the pin is much longer in the hdr 68, also you do not need a co2 restrictor in the hdr 68. but my hdb 68 is 83 joules right from the box, i only removed the valve block and added hpa, went from 7 joules all the way to 85 just from that, an 18 inch barrel will put you up over 90 joules

yes all i did was remove the block and added 1100 hpa that gives me around 85 joules and with 900 psi im hitting around 72 joules, also if you use grimburg juls you will get the best results cuz they match the bore perfectly in the barrel so no pressure gets lost, canada riotballs and aluminum balls are a bit smaller diameter so i get around 10 joules less with those ammos and most smaller 6.83 ammo rd balls, my hdr50 is hitting around 143 joules with 8.4 gram steel bearings, it goes through 2 inches of plywood and my hdp50 is around 120 joules i have all the videos if you want to look just check my playlists for each marker, i converted my hdx68 from 7 joules to 45 joules and now it takes the 88g co2 instead of 2x12g co2, my hdp compact is hitting around 50 js as well

if you use co2 you need a co2 restrictor from the power kit or an 11 joule hdr valve, and i used heat on mine and it did not work with the hdb only hdr and hdp careful heating it cuz there is an oring behind the threads

So I can just drill the co2 restrictor out instead of purchasing the power kit?

@@Turbospoo1 if you all ready have the restrictor then yes, the restrictor comes with a powerkit and i believe the 16 joules version or find one in an hdr50 11 joule valve

i get 50 joules with a 12 gram and 65 with an 88 gram co2, i get about 10 shots on a 12 gram not sure about the 88 gram

yes try and drill a screw into it a lil and then pull it out with your hands, or remove the valve and pop it out with a screwdriver from the bolt side of the valve, it will pop right out

no the hdb has its own kit

yes just remove the restrictor and your good there is a block in the valve that restricts air just pop it out

just remove the valve block and add the hpa adaptor from home defense 24 dot com, im sure i have vids that show how, its the same for all T4E markers in HD series

depends on what your running , 12 gram you get about 10 shots or so and 88 gram im not sure but a lot more, and with hpa 13 ci tank you get about 20 shots or so

yes with co2 pull the valve block and add a restrictor with a drilled out hole of 1/16 no bigger it will go from 40 ish to 50 ish with co2, only expect maby 9 shots now with a 12 gram co2

@@UmarexLessLethalHomeDefense That's all the shots I need since this will be going in the bedroom for home 🏠 self defense. Truth be told, if I need more than maybe three to four shots in a self defense situation, I won't be using this, and instead be relying on my 9mm.

with my hpa set up its at 83 joules, you for sure wont need more then 2 maby even just one lol a 22 short rd is 95 joules :)

no just take out the valve block and you maxed out

with no powerkit the hdb is more powerful with co2 and hpa, i dont use the powerkit in my hdbs

yes i done that with other markers like hdr and hdp 50 you cant add heat to the brass cap cuz you will fry the orings in it, you can add heat to remove the powerpin
