I purchased one of these about 2 or 3 weeks ago out of curiosity. The magazine release is reversible you can see where it goes on the right side for a left-handed shooter I believe. I think the instruction manual explains that. I wasn't looking for it in the manual but I believe I saw a section devoted to that as I was glossing through the pages. If anybody has trouble finding their owners manual it's behind the foam in the carrying case that it comes in.
I bought the hdp 50 right before these were released and I wish I would have waited. What I love about this gun is it doesn't have that stupid feature where you have to smack the bottom of the gun to activate the CO2. In a real-life scramble situation if you're not already ready to rock and roll chances are you're going to forget to smack that PIN. I'm really tempted I'm really tempted to sell my HDs 68 and my hdb 50 to pick one of these up. I love the look of the Walther it's so clean. Glocks are just starting to look generic to me anymore nowadays
You can get the smack-mags for the PPQ, but I don't use them. I have 2 PPQs, which I can carry concealed, and 2 modded HDR 50s, which I can use for home defense. Also have the short 68 cal double barrel, and recently got the HDX 68. I need to make more videos.
Thanks for this. What spring do you use for the aluminum balls? Do you use the heavier spring? What spring would you recommend if you were to alternate between rubber and pepper?
Nice, I got the same one and been waiting for someone to show aluminum rounds. I been thinking of getting those for protection because of how hard they hit. Are you going to do any tests on a video with the aluminum rounds?
I feel like the flat dark earth one is nicer ones u add a flashlight combo it’s a perfect left hand gun if u know ur way around the real steal vs that’s the reason why I got this so I can use it with the pepper rounds it’s better for the no lethal time and for the pepper rounds it goes 410 fps just as long as u don’t break ur springs
The one that comes in the mag already. If you use the rubber ball spring, you're risking a lot of broken pepper balls, and actually peppering yourself in the process.
I heard that the newer ones they are producing will hold 9 rounds, and not just 8, but I also heard that they jam. I can't confirm this, because both of mine are the older ones.
