A nice video guys. Brilliant museum. Great to see you getting better and stronger each day and getting back to a more normal vanlife. 'Fly Navy' ⚓ 🚁 !!
Hi Mandy Wow! You are def on road to recovery, Fleet air arm muesum brilliant, thank for up re entry tickets, i never knew you could visit again on same ticket. Aw John ! He was just iching to get in that work shop. Good luck on you hospital check up. And you glasses really suit you too, keep smiling 😊
I loved the museum, definitely one to follow up on. Its reassuring that the hospital are up for reviewing their procedures. I'm sure it goes on all the time, but it good to hear a first hand account from a trusted source. It's good to see you looking well Mandy, and I love that panoramic shot at the finish. Take care.👋🇬🇧🇪🇺🇺🇦🇮🇪
Really pleased that you are now progressing well, I know all about the follow ups for cancer, as following my laryngectomy I started with two weekly checks then on to a monthly check now after nearly 3 years I’m up to 4 months with annual scans. So I also can now plan my trips easier. Already done UK in June / July, then Northern Spain in August. Next trip will be UK in November followed by Southern Spain for Christmas and New Year again. Well done young lady ❤
Looking well Mandy! I’ve just been through a terrible time myself and can fully sympathise with how ill you must have felt, so lovely to see you smiling again ❤xx
Good luck on Friday Mandy, bit late catching up with my you tube this week. Take care of yourself see you next time.😊😊 By the way the video was lovely..
Wow, what an amazing museum, so glad you were able to walk around and enjoy it. You are looking and moving about so much better all the time, so good to see. Good to hear they are checking everything, but strange that the cysts are not mentioned, as that is a very important piece of the whole story. They do sometimes miss things on scans sadly, I know this from personal experience. Glad you made it back 'Up North' without any issues.
You are looking and sounding so much better. It must be great to be on the move again. I get a bit stir crazy if I stay put for too long. That museum was amazing! Safe journeys ❤
Welcome back to East Yorkshire, you two. Hope it all went well on Friday & you’re probably off elsewhere by now. We’re just back from 3.5 weeks motorhoming around the top third of Spain - which was lovely beyond expectations, but really enjoying the autumn colours up here on our return. Trust you’re somewhere where you can kick leaves and savour the season.
Had the pleasure of a trip in a Sea King at Filey lifeboat day many years ago. Was lifted from the ILB into the sea king then winched down to the Oakley class lifeboat " Robert and Dorothy Hardcasle"
Hari Om So glad you are getting those types of back up calls and support, Mandy. I must say you are starting to look and sound a bit more like yourself and it lift the heart! Count me a tad jelly green at that museum visit... YAM xx
Glad to hear some good news from your case worker. Good luck with the scan coming up. I think you are looking great and sounding great also. Keep up the good work.
Must check out that museum. Was the wheel a Ranalah, John? (Dom from Repair Shop renovates them.) So good to be in partnership with your medical people, Mandy. You look to be in very fine fettle. Yay! Laura x
Hi Mandy, It is so lovely to see u looking so well 👍 but the trick is don’t go over doing it just remember u have to learn to walk before u can run all the best to u both 🙂💖👍🦋Lin
Guys I served at Yeovilton in the 80’s while serving in the marines in one of the squadrons. It was the height of activity of naval aviation. So sad it’s now rarely used. David
£18 seems a good price for a yearly membership of the museum. Do you think you will visit again? I have joined things but still have to pay for events .
As soon as I said it was expensive I wondered why - maybe because I’d paid £44 and it seemed a lot 😂 it’s a bargain for what you get and for an annual pass too. If we are nearby I’ll definitely want to go back
@unadventurousmandy I have been a member of the National Trust but the membership does not cover special events. The Agricultural Show is another one - they have the Royal Show once a year and no other events apart from the AGM
That was the first thing I said to my oncologist - I don’t need it all now so just take it 🤷♀️ there wasn’t any margins for removing it all though due to where and how big the cancer is/was
