I love the way sentinel speaks really speaks of his place in his original stories. Not just how he has a registry on all x-men and being a spearhead for "Operation: Zero Tolerance", but the fact that even unidentified objects are met with an instant combat response and even capturing people who it can’t even identify as mutants. Sentinel isn't evil, just a tool of it.

Sentinel's theme alongside one of the toughest mutants being defeated and followed by the line: "Operation Zero Tolerance:Near Completion." is really chilling even without context.
@@Mngalahad Two theories: 1. Technically speaking, Akuma isn't a demon. He just fancies himself one due to the nature of the Satsui no Hado. All Sentinel sees is a human with an unknown energy signature. 2. There are actual demons in the Marvel universe, and it's likely Master Mold took that into account when building the Sentinels. Firebrand fits better into the parameters set.
If anyone's watching more recently after annotations stopped being a thing, the one about 'fradulent Sentinel production halted' is not a mirror match quote, it's Tron Bonne. I love the fact that she saw these robots and went 'I'm gonna get me some of those' apparently.
I love Sentinel's voice and comments, and how he's such an evil character despite being an emotionless robot. If it wasn't for the fact that he was SEVERELY infuriating in MvC3, and still is abused quite a bit, he'd be a really enjoyable character to me. Also, they should really blow up when you destroy Sentinels, that would be great. :D

The fight began with “QUERY: IS SUBJECT A MUTANT?” He likely analyzed Firebrand over the course of the fight and concluded that no, subject is not a mutant. Subject is a “demonic entity.”
Sentinels will not stop with with hunting mutants. Eventually, they will turn on baseline humans and human mutates. When those threats are dealt with, those in other categories deemed dangerous to them will follow. Demons, extraterrestrials, mutated animals, and others will fall to their relentless drive to hunt down anything that is not A.I.

That would be interesting, but the user of Satsui No Hado seem to be regular human beings who have mastered some metaphysical energy that dwells in all human beings(at least I assume that's how it works!) So it would be copying human DNA. Their power seems to come from their training and negative emotions. Maybe it could copy a few moves, but not everything...
There are other types of Sentinels IE Prime Sentinels (who have genders), various Marks of them (IE Mark 5), Bastion, etc, this one is COTA 94, and apparently it can tank Capcom fighters.

I heard that the lines Sentinel says towards Akuma, it says to Shuma-Gorath, too. However, I've yet to see any proof. Does Sentinel actually say those lines to Shuma-Gorath as it does Akuma? Or is it a case of unnoticed Wikia vandalism?
it isnt really FGC slang. its a word that had a meaning before Mike Ross was even born. it just caught on in the FGC and lost meaning. i find it funny but it still lost its true meaning which is to be expected in the FGC.

kiril sotirov That isn't my point. My point is, in crossover fighting games, seeing characters able to lift skyscrapers, destroy mountains, etc. being defeated by characters with just above average strength (or even less) is very common. TVTropes calls it "power creep, power seep".

I believe Zero doesn't stand a chance against Sentinel. But I do know that those canon power levels don't mean shit in a game like this, where Galactus can be taken down by a sneeze.
