just a reminder for all the Keal bashers not every company has a community manager that directly talks to the community we are more fortunate than GTA online players, for example in which we don't even know the name of rockstar community manager

But I don't see why this would be a plus. I'd say knowing the name, or who the person is, is irrelevant to judging the quality of their work. In other words, we'd still have the same remarks we have now, but they'd be directed to an unnamed community manager, instead of a named "Kael".

It was no surprise to me. I saw the countdown on the Tholian event a couple days ago. Usually following an event like that is a week or two of Red Alerts followed by the next event, whether it be seasonal, recreational, or annual arc.

Also, to be aware, the 10th Anniversary is back on PC as well. Seems to be a sale on Legendary bundles.

Yes, both the 10th and 11th Anniversary bundles are included with the Legendary bundles sale as they are both also Legendary bundles.

That happened on console like a month ago well end of feburary i think i wish that 10 anni pack could be upgraded to premium version for partial prize for extra stuff with it but ehh not everyone does that sadly

The past couple years now the First Contact event hasn't started until about week after April 5th. Just how their schedule falls with so many events packed together. But we know it's coming because it was on the roadmap from the CEO stream last month.

With what's going behind the scenes at Cryptic over the last few weeks, I wouldn't be surprised if Kael just simply forgot to notify us about the Red Alert event. The man is literally doing a Herculean task all by himself pretty much, he should be commended for all the hard work he does to give us news and information that most other companies wouldn't do.

Thankfully someone is on the ball and keeps us updated on these things. Either the person responsible for the news releases didn't do it, didn't know about it or thought someone else was doing the release as we see updates from a couple of different people. This really needs to be sorted out and hopefully it will be soon

The communication right now, given the transition, is a massive problem. I don't blame Kael. He's got to be stretched very thin at the moment.

I like that red alerts and other "emergencies" are unannounced. Wish they would bury more easter eggs and secrets into the game. I hate being spoon fed.

I find it odd that the lockbox ships and phoenix prize boxes are character only but the chance to get the box is account wide… makes no sense at all.

Going to start a romulan character for the Delta recruitment event. Is tac or sci better for romulan battle cloak? I have a silik carrier, but warbirds have singularity drives.

Tac or Sci really won't make much of a difference. A battlecloak works the same way no matter what. Go with whichever you like.

I'm more annoyed by how the Legendary Bundle sales are NEVER announced until they are live. Some of us want to get the bundle but don't have that sort of money to drop at a moment's notice.

Well sadly with the transition and what is happening with cryptic and deca im not surprised that there will be some missed communication. Kael is one person doing multiple roles for multiple games. Having been through a company's reduction/restructuring a few years back.I was one of 5000 full-time employees let go. I am perfectly understanding of what Cryptic Studios team is going through. At this point im thankful the game is still running despite miss communication and a few bugs here and there.

No. As I said in the video, it'll likely be announced soon. The last couple years it's happened a bit after the 5th, just what happens with how their schedule is these days with so many events packed together. We know it's coming because it was on the STO roadmap during the CEO stream last month.
