10:56 1/3 is a double edged sword. The reason it is as profitable currently, (it's never been this soft in the 20 years of playing live poker) is also why you lose to AJ-D's backdoor flush. You have to take the good with the bad. That was a great fold.
Love the videos! Against unorthodox players, I usually just play standard and let them outthink themselves into the wrong decision. Against small donk bets, I usually just view it as a check. Not sure if that's the right way to go but for example I probably wouldn't be checking the 2 pair AJ hand so I think a raise makes the most sense. I'm just some guy on the internet though so wtf do i know lol.
Love the Chris Rock reference ha. Def gotta start mixing bluffs in! They won’t always have the nut flush there and def wanna be getting called by a wider range. But great session!
Interesting you open TT to only $15 after a limp in late position but KK UTG first to act to $20. Live poker doesn’t matter at 1/3 and 95% of something people aren’t gonna notice but something I noticed and exploitable.
Good catch. First hand (TT) HJ limped & said it was his last hand so I went small to try & keep him in. KK hand: a lot of people table changed to my table & bought in deeper stacks & that’s the size they started using. But if you see any other tells, I’m all ears. Appreciate the comment
Doesn’t matter to much IMO and depends on table action and how people perceive you etc etc. if there going to call w junk preflop if it’s 10,$20 might as well make it more w your best hands
Nice comeback win on the end … seems like you always play around 10 Am to 2 pm which will limit you to retirees and no drunk players. It’s harder to win against those that play conservative poker and never punt. With that being said you’re doing well to stay above the rake and book wins. Appreciate the effort posting all the quality content
Definitely don’t get the cream of the crop opponents unfortunately but as long as I get entertaining content & hopefully book a yearly profit I’m happy!
25:09 If you divide his salary into games played, then average game length, Bryce Harper made roughly $130 from the time the ball left the bat to the time it landed. About $6 if you divide his salary by seconds in a year. Fun fact 🤓
You should raise more preflop with your premium hands. $15 preflop raise with AA is too small of an amount. These calling stations will call much bigger raises preflop with marginal holdings. $25 is much better
I don’t think he tanked on the river with the nut flush because you have a nitty image. The line you took is just so damn strong. You 3 bet the turn and then bet such a small value heavy size on the river. That line was just so damn strong. Personally I’m jamming that river. Go with a big polarizing size on the river and hope it looks bluffy. Also, killer fold with the 79ss. I’m not sure I could have folded there.
if a 2 outer on the river is your worst ever beat, then youy have a lot of PAIN ahead sometime in the future. you got your money in great....all you can hope to do. the cards are what they are.
